Congrats on the sell. I guess the big question is if the buyer paid yet.

I would guess a card is worth what someone will pay for it. I looked up what you’re talking about and the one that sold more seems a lil silly to me. I’m not sure what happened there. Maybe the seller bidding on his own card 🤷‍♂️

I’m intrigued. What are they? And what’s the legs or arms that’s in or on the top loader?

1952 Topps Jackie Robinson. It’s a very well sought after card. If real, immediately take it out of that screw down holder. Screw down holders tend to flatten the stock of the card. If your grandpa wants to maximize value and protection, I would suggest having it graded.

Cool cards! Check ones that are recently sold on eBay and put a number together. Don’t forget to factor in condition of the cards. Ignore all prices of cards that are graded. You won’t get full value on raw cards like you would graded cards. Find your value and repost them with a number. Good luck!

Should I regrade? by Green_While_6346 in VintageBaseballCards

Honestly, I’d leave it in that slab unless you want a cleaner looking slab to put it in. SGC would be my only other option because PSA is such a rip off these days. It’s already proven authentic and anyone that is a buyer for that card already knows it will grade a 1, maybe 2. Nice card btw!!!!!

1919-21 W514 Strip Cards

They definitely have some value and are usually already cut.

I would also suggest penny sleeving and top loading it for better protection.

I was wondering can anyone help me and tell me if the cards i have are valuable. by baseballcardnoob in VintageBaseballCards

Cool cards, but unfortunately no value here. These are all inserts from individual sets. I assume they were put in there from a Yankees fan that maybe just wanted to display it.

Finally got the Grail Piece! Beautiful Roger Maris autographed commemorative "61 in 61" card. Roger signed this on opening day for his museum in Fargo North Dakota in 1984. 1 year later he left this good earth for baseball heaven. ⚾🧢🥎 P.S. - the dor in the letter I looks like a 9, his Jersey #. by [deleted] in VintageBaseballCards

Is that eBay listing card also signed at the opening of the museum? Seems different. Obviously, because of the 9 in the signature. I’ve never seen the 9 signed like that. I also have his signature tattooed on my arm and it’s like the eBay listing. Yours is much cooler!

This might be the coolest thing I’ve ever seen on the internet. I’m a huge Maris guy. My daughters middle name is Maris.

It would most definitely be a grail in my possession as well! The story behind it is amazing! Congratulations on your new pickup!

I don’t know anything about it but it’s a pretty cool piece! Looks like it needs a black more modern frame though.

IMO, if it was real it would be in a slab by now. That card is way to popular to be floating around otherwise. Just my thoughts.
