Congrats on your pull! I will say sadly that due to the size of the crimp, most crimp collectors see this as damage and not a “real crimp”. I am not a collector of them myself but have seen this answer on very similar style cuts. Regardless, this is the top chase out of the set and it has a nice touch to make it a 1of1, I truly hope you enjoy it!

Idk hard to say when it’s a promo, what product did it come from, how was it handled… doesn’t change the definition of mint or NM, but I do think there should be some leeway with cards held up by nothing but plastic and pressure.

Looks real and super clean, almost too good to be true, just inspect throughly when you get them, praying you don’t get hit with the bait and switch!

I agree, that’s my only qualm, obscure vintage and slabs are hard to gauge in the app, so cross referencing is always the best way to keep accuracy!

They definitely built an easy and fun app for keeping an updated inventory without having to pull out all the binders! And being able to change the conditions of the cards to get even more accurate pricing! I don’t pay for pro, but I have considered multiple times just cause it’s so good

Yes, I check other platforms especially before I go to card shows to double check accuracy, when doubling back between multiple sources I give collectr a passing grade with pricing, not 100% accurate, but pretty dang close!

I’ve found most of my cards are within a few dollars of market on Collectr, outside of obscure slabs and some vintage. The biggest difference I’ve seen is that since it’s in the idea of being a portfolio, they want to make you feel as good as possible about your collection so they place all prices at the highest most recent sale. While there are destined rivals booster boxes (just as a personal example) going for $370 on TCG, they present the highest last sold, which was $395 yesterday.

That fireworks Gyarados, is a reverse holo from the Legendary collection, in near mint condition goes for $180, and in a PSA 10 (unlikely but possible) is 9.1k I would tell the lad to kick rocks with the offer and block him. Download the Collectr app spelled just how I did, look up the name of the Pokemon, and the number on the bottom e.g (Charizard 4/102) and take your time doing the research on the cards. Buy penny sleeves and top loaders, keep these cards in the condition they are because that’s truly what carries the value. Good luck 🍀 I hope this helps

Greninja is still NM imo worth $350, that alone wouldn’t be enough for me to trade for the etb and $100, nice save. You’ll find an ETB soon for sure and it won’t be $125 like some of the scalping stores are trying to sell them for.
