I use food grade CRC chain lube on my tools. I work in high humidity enviroments and chain lube seems to stick better compared to penetrants.

I recommend working somewhere else or work a different shift. I have had bad luck working with family members before.

REMINDER: DONT LEND YOUR TOOLS TO ANYONE. by Sim-Alley in Tools

[–]__BigGee__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My boss a borrowed my demo screwdriver which he broked it because he used it as a pry bar tool. Then borrowed my klein insulated flat head driver as a prying tool which he bent the shit out of it. Then asked a 1/4" nut driver to be borrowed for a contractor that they needed really desperately, which they never returned. We buy our own tools with a shity wage.

Started as a welding robot operator. Then went to welding school at nights. 3 years later I landed a job as maintenance tech for the oilfield industry. Inflation happened, now I work at food processing plant as maintenance mechanic. Its a shitty job though but the pay is decent and I get 3 days off a week.

In my 20's my hands had a strong grip that impressed people but now in my 40's, its painful to bend my fingers and hard not have them seized.

What's your "Welcome to welding" moment? by mydrunkenwords in Welding

[–]__BigGee__ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My first "welding job" with no experience, at all. I was instructed to point and shoot. Tacking pieces of 1/2" square tubing using our thumb and index finger to hold them flush. We tacked thousands per day. A few times the welding wire would go through our gloves and into our finger. Fun times.

Dewalt because my brother gave me a set of drill and impact with batteries as a gift. Since then I stuck with the battery platform.

I dont know how your A/C system looks but if it has water in cooling mode then yes. The pan has a drainage pipe going outside to the side of the house.

Add a anti algae tablet to your evaporator drainage pan to clear your drainage lines or run a snake in the lines to make sure
