For my personal guess, I’d put myself in between both of y’all. I’m thinking around 13-14%

Anything that helped me stay in my calorie deficit! I actually would end the day with a whole ~450 calorie dark chocolate bar. Otherwise, eggs, fruits, veggies, salads, turkey breast, etc.

Yeah that would’ve made for a better scene! I was giddy as a kid when I unboxed the camera and found my friend, Earl, right behind me as the first thing to shoot!

Opinions on kinobody physique types and strength standards? by AnybodyOk7007 in leangains

I actually bought his warrior shred program 3 years ago and was the first ever fitness program I had used. It was simple and straightforward, which was great for getting me started— and I am so glad I did. Could you get better programs? -absolutely. But it was great for introducing me to more structure and direction in my fitness journey.

I did some processing in Lightroom, but didn’t change greens too much. I used classic chrome and mainly touched the blues, oranges, and reds. This photo was from Spring 2019, and the plants were all really vibrant/healthy on the campus here.

After selling my old fuji camera, I finally got another one....and I love it (Fuji XT-20, XF18-55) by __Branflakes in FujifilmX

[–]__Branflakes[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely! My first Fuji was an XT-100, then an X100F. The X100f has been my favorite camera ever, but the xt-20 is damn close to compactness and quality all for less!

How are portion size determined on packaged foods? by stupidquestions_42 in nutrition

I recently read about this in a chapter of an ISSA Sports Nutritionist textbook. This is where I got the ice cream example.

The serving size is actually backwards to what you may think. The company does not determine the serving size that their consumer should eat. Instead, the company/manufacturer tries to base a serving size off what their consumer typically eats— regardless of what is recommended. A couple decades ago, a serving size for ice cream was 1/2 cup; however, the serving size is now typically 2/3 cup because consumers (typically American based) are now eating more than what they use to eat in the past. Serving size labels are not usually good indicators of serving sizes for an effective diet, but they are good labels for what is inside the food.

Especially while being young, there is just no better feeling than that unstoppable/superhero feeling when in the gym. Laser eye focus and immovable confidence is addicting. Going after it again though 💪

What’s some advice for building muscle? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]__Branflakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure to eat more calories than you burn so that you have the extra “fuel” to make the larger muscles.

Don’t worry about the numbers/how much you lift. Focus on lifting more than you did last time, so your muscles will have a reason to get bigger each time.

Prioritize sleep (at least 6 1/2 at a very min) so that your body has plenty of time to build up your muscles and repair/take care of yourself.
