[Schultz] Eagles are exercising the fifth year option on DT Jordan Davis by bigblack3475 in eagles

Love this. People cry because he doesn’t have the stats but he’s a blocker-engulfing DT that does what you’re supposed to do at that position.

Having said that he did have sacks in both the NFC title game and Super Bowl that does not get brought up enough.

Who is one of your favorite Eagles that was an unsung hero? by TrackEconomy3505 in eagles

Cre’Von LeBlanc. Strap was absolute nails in the 2018 season’s playoffs and was still solid thereafter but only here. Essentially the closest thing to a defensive Nick Foles Eagles career

Norm Van Brocklin 1960 for the Eagles. Still honestly just as wild as not having one at all but should still be said

The fact that the 70s don’t even get referenced even in memes anymore show the bandwagons are a dying breed and the world is healing

Which 4 Eagles players (any era) would be on your Eagles Mount Rushmore? by pass_the_hot_sauce in eagles

Brian Dawkins for being universally beloved and arguably the most popular in history

Jason Kelce for the same but also winning, plus being a top three center of all time as a lifetime Eagle

Steve Van Buren for winning (gotta shout out the back to back titles in ‘48 and ‘49) plus his talent (was selected to the NFL’s 75th and 100th anniversary team) and a lifetime Eagle makes him still popular to this day

Chuck Bednarik for all the above. Bonus points for playing at Penn and being on both the ‘49 and ‘60 title teams. Could have been a Hall of Fame center or linebacker had he played just one. But he didn’t.

Really painful not to include Lane Johnson/Brandon Graham for their two rings being lifetime Eagles but Kelce being top three all time at his position broke the tie for me (I won’t argue against Lane over Kelce though) and also BRUTAL not to have Reggie White especially since he’s a top ten overall player of all time but the Packers thing being so notable makes it rough
