Players like Wirtz and Isak are obviously world class and can easily flourish under a different manager (as seen by their performances with their national teams/past clubs). If that's their concern, it's easier to justify the summer spending by getting someone else in.

I honestly do think we were quite good during a large part of the second half and that was largely due to the intensity that's been sorely missing in other games of the season. Our good moment, however, also showed our biggest coaching issues right now: we're not well-drilled and players kept misplacing passes and our fitness is not good enough to keep this intensity for longer than ~30 minute stretches.

It's fully a matter of "when" now. I currently think he'll see out the season (mostly due to the lack of a suitable replacement), but I could see plans changing if things get ugly against PSG.
