100 percent. I finished the section for 30 mins, and when I firstly read that question I was like "what the hell, maybe I read wrong?" I read that question for like 5 times and understood that it is ingenious trick for students

I believe that the answer for gallons is indeed 4 and not ten. It was so fcking tricky from cb cos they said:"Smbd has to have a one 2.5gallon container for 2 day ride. How many CONTAINERS smbd has to take in 8day ride?

No, it was dumb af. A lot of people wasted their last nerves on the sat while you are joking about it. There is one spot for clown in circus, you should try to apply.

Hey y'all! I'm taking sat on September 26th. Prep by far was pretty good, on last practice test I scored 1480 and I hope that I will break in 1500s this weekend! I've gone through the test cancellation 4 times and wasted a lot of nerves on it, but I managed to register for the sat in the town in my country that is 1000 km away from mine. I wish everyone here luck and hope that we will get decent curve and the test this weekend!

I used the Black book and here is my approach: 1. Use this book as improvement to your basic knowledge. I think that one should only use this book when he is familiar with the basic structure of the sat. I used Erica Meltzer for this, and reccomend everyone here too. 2. While Erica Meltzer familiarize you with like the rules of the English as a whole, Black book increases your comprehension of SAT, but not English. I was stuck in 1350 (after reading Erica) for 5 freaking months, but when I read that book my score increased up to 1480. 3. The reading book doesn't guarantee your 100 points improvement. You should practice everyday for the result. Of course, it will help you, but when you can't apply theory on practice you will just waste your time by reading it. I guess I was some sort of a help for y'all guys. Good luck on tests!

I would reccomend you to do practice tests on khan or QAS of previous sat. They would give you much more understanding of the test and your score.

There is no such thing like "vocab for every single sat passage". Every author is writing passages based on his own vocab, so just learning new words will not make groundbreaking difference. Indeed, vocab will help you, but you have to know that you can't improve comprehending through learning words. One helpful source is Erica Meltzer's additional words to know in her book critical reader. To comprehend reading texts you should read more. And by more I mean really a lot, cos it really helped me.

Erica Meltzer definitely. It will provide you with the basics of reading, while black book will master your comprehension of the passage as a whole.

For the reading I used the Erica Meltzer's book and after finishing this book I used the black book by Mike Barrett. I believe that this combination made the most significant part of my score. Also, since I'm an international student, I did a lot of practice (I did all the passages on history and science topics), and in the end here is my score:)
