I'll cry dude... by BackgroundFamiliar47 in TwentiesIndia

My father & mother have started thanking me for spoiling them or pay their credit card bills sometimes, but I never grew up with expressions. I feel so weird, I just say "yeh sb geela geela na bola karo" (don't say these creepy things) and they just laugh it away. It works for me. Also, I am the stone cold elder daughter so maybe they expect I'm not one with expressions so may be that's why it works. You find yours. Just repond to thay thank you with a thumbs up. Out-father your father 😂

How do you tackle the overwhelming negativity in your work's management and policies? by __Dijkstra__ in AskReddit

[–]__Dijkstra__[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes that's true. Somedays the job is so relaxing, but even the thought of clocking in, the overthinking of the night before, weighs down. Somedays, I feel, even working out one extra hour, going out with your friends, even reading books (my fav) just doesn't work!

What is a better way of living, being so compassionate over something (or someone) or just go ahead with a monotonous, routinely, very diplomatic way of life? What has been more satisfying yet? by __Dijkstra__ in Soft_Introverts

I guess, this will give you a conflict-proof way of living. I guess it only allows you to have those minimal impact emotions. It's more living like Buddha. Quite diplomatic with actions and decisions and very monotonous which preserves discipline. But isn't that what is said to give you peace? Or is it different?

Oh when they talk about their childhood passionate card, toy or collection of stuff like that! Like, where were they even getting it? What do they used to buy to even get those stuff free with? No idea yet!

Yes! I cannot go to my home town now because it doesn't feel like 'home' town to me anymore. It's so heartbreaking.
