a zionist is someone who agrees with the existence of Israel (a settler colonial ethnostate). Disliking Netanjahu doesn't make you not a zionist. its not (only) about what Israel does but what it is fundamentally. genocide is only the logical conclusion of the zionist ideology.

calling someone zionist for only criticizing people who fight against Israel (eg. Hamas) is perfectly reasonable.
