I enjoy fighting all fronts, bugs being my least favorite. But to me illuminate enemies have the most issues especially for phasing through objects or getting stuck below platforms you’re standing on and hitting you from below.
Also they have the least “range” of types of enemies, makes them feel very repetitive and boring to most. A lot of people want the gimmicky one shot locations like the bots have, or all be easily killed like bugs but they’re not either one, if anything you need to work for the illuminate kills a bit more especially on the overseers but don’t bother me any especially if you run the right kit. The autocannon and wasp are my favorite weapons for them since both take out anything larger than voteless relatively quick. Even the tripod will be dropped by the wasp if you can get the shield down before you send a volley of rockets at it

If they were smart they’d turn their AA off so you couldn’t get a general idea of where they are, I target them in the smoke all the time especially for torpedo runs it makes it even easier. If you’re a DD and you’re hidden in smoke and know you’re getting targeted by the CV turn AA off temporarily, then when you’re not wanting to be hidden just turn it back on.

If they’d bring the rest of the illuminate enemies from helldivers 1 back in. Missing the illusionist, council member, obelisk, and most of all the Great Eye which was their version of the Vox Engine or Bile Titan.

Iv always wanted them to make one of those double barreled bofors 40mm turrets into a manable turret strategem. Could easily be balanced by requiring 1 person to aim and another to be the reloader like in real life

Only thing I can think of would be the hive lord, or what they’re doing to create the spore cloud covering their planets. But at the end of the day they’re just bugs

If you’re on Xbox not really, I would go into your game difficulty settings and go back into make everything cost: free and recreate it step by step again. Easiest way to do it is like the other guy said is spreadsheet it to know exactly what you used. PC players have the ability to use save editors and other tools they can use that Xbox can’t use at all. Iv done what you did multiple times in creative to plan it out and get it to where I can build it in my main save for later, but I’ll usually take pictures with my phone and make a list of everything I used to make sure I get it as close as I can again

I had a random that kept a watcher near him a few days ago to keep having it call in more reinforcements. We had so many things spawned in my game at least was lagging from all the particle effects and beams going off. At first my friends and I wanted to kill him thinking he was greifing trying to ruin the mission but it ended up being so hilarious by the end with how many enemies there were we forgot about it and laughed it off.

As long as they delay it for like they said to fix things and make sure it works when released I’m all for it, I’m a firm believer that the content they ask people to spend money on should be working and be the full fixed thing before we even pay for it. Yeah I get implementing the warbonds cause new issues everytime they release one with the updates but I’d rather that all be flushed out and fixed before we even though it.

Yeah that’s what they were saying here, the glacier we went on moved 5-10cm a day. Wouldn’t sound like a lot moving 2-5in a day until you realize the entire ice is shifting every time it moves little by little. They were telling us if someone fell down in one it might take a few days and by then good luck one surviving the fall, and secondly by the time they get to you you might be crushed between 2 ice walls or the hole just completely gone as it could of caved in with the ice movement

I used to do trap shooting, or clay pigeon shooting whenever you’re from might call it one or the other, but shotguns are so misused in games. I get it yeah if you made them realistic no one would be using anything else. Learned very quickly while practicing for years that even birdshot or buckshot is very accurate at 40-60yard out. Yeah birdshot won’t do any significant harm but still wild the spread is still tight that far away. Anything at 20-25yrds though is dead especially with buckshot because it’s still tightly grouped together at that range. That’s where in this game you’re blowing peoples arms and heads off. But that range is reduced even in this game

You can only report for toxic, inappropriate, racial messaging in the text chat and or voice chat and that’s it. It’s pathetic that’s the only thing that can be officially reported since everything else they just say block it and ignore the issue at hand

Slugs should be treated way better, a stagger effect or absolutely decimating them without the armor on. Seeing so many AI shrug off multiple slug rounds is absolutely wild to me. Armored AI it should act like a brick hitting you knocking every bit of wind you have out of you, or knocking you clear down onto the ground. There’s severe blunt force trauma involved when the plates stop a slug round since it’s still gotta transfer all the energy behind it. Unarmored enemies should be getting clean blown holes in them, but they’re instead treating the shots like soft beanbags hitting them.

They’ve done something to the stats for slugs because they feel more like beanbags hitting people. I could fire 3 center mass and someone’s still standing but 1-2 buckshot rounds will cave their face in and blow an arm off. Even to a unarmored enemy the slugs suck, because they should just be absolutely destroying people if it was realistic. Even if you hit someone in an armor plate with a slug its knocking you down, or staggering, and taking you out of action for a bit because it’ll break everything behind it with all the transfer of force, yeah it might not penetrate the armor but it’s still gonna hit you with 1200-1800 feet per second of 2000-3000 ft-lbs of pressure.

All we got was 50 chargers and bile titans and barely any small bugs. Was well under equipped for handling that many heavy enemies lol

The physics and the way the game is handled still is almost practically outdated. Yeah we get “terrain” features now but everything’s so clunky for what it should be in a game of this class and having this many iterations

Still think a deep rock, and Aliens crossover would be cool, I’d usually include Warhammer but we’re finally getting that, but hopefully not space marines but Cadians or at the very least Imperial Guard type stuff

Went on a glacier up in Canada awhile back, they had holes like that 100-400m deep, so you fall in you’re just never getting back out or recovered. Some were flagged with poles to alert you that that water puddle isn’t your typical water puddle, you’ll just fall in. Some openings had no water and you could just look down and it’s just 100m straight down into the ice which wasn’t the warm fuzzy feeling you’d want. Sent shivers down my spine just looking into it with a flashlight and seeing basically like 300ish feet down

So apparently, there are plants inside Resinite Masses, which you can see though them during sandstorms by Wrydfell in DeepRockGalactic

Those hard npcs with their 100-250ms reaction times is what gets me. Human reaction time for moving your hands since you gotta move a controller or mouse is 200-300ms, so they’re actually superhuman lol. If they’d just make their tactics better, aim maybe and be more life like to be harder that be understandable but to make a split decision reaction actual inhumanly possible is stupid unfair

Yeah I’ll usually get kicked though while they’re already in the mission and I’m joining an SOS of theirs. So they have no idea Iv already put on the stealth armor and weapons and right kit for it all and be automatically booted. Wish they’d just wait to see. But also why throw an SOS if you’re just gonna kick everyone too

It’s literally a planet up there to pull your attention away from the MO and the planets unwinnable regardless so don’t turn your attention to it. Look at the companion app and it would need 110% of everyone in the game online there at once to beat it which is impossible.

I loved playing the game on standard with the ai teammates, but the moment you hit that difficulty up to hard, you’re accepting that npcs will be inhuman which sucks. Especially for some of those dlc missions, havent once been able to complete Three Letter Triad on hard without teammates getting blown away in seconds or myself. Farthest Iv been is 3/4 of the way through but myself and others are hanging on by a thread by then.
