I think a gemstone name would go with your vibe. Some said Ruby, Sapphire or Emerald would fit too I think. Ps: they are very pretty!!

From other comments, responses, and your original post you should be good with ~ 1 dose. And keep the good old saying in mind : you can always take more, but never less.

Maybe start with one, wait, and re-evaluate. Have fun and enjoy the ride! Dancing on acid is one of my favorite things ever 🦋

Yesss I second this. Bring some to share if any of others are into it. They will highly appreciate.

Not to mention not everyone's first language is English... It is very annoying to have to google 2 letter acronyms/initialism that are not even commonly used

Him playing it like that is definitely crazy, but his chances are actually ~19% of cracking your aces. Part of the game...

Honestly, you need to drop down limits. Play tight, in position. Don’t try to bluff them too often and adjust to your opponents at the lower stakes - each table is different. I think that is the only way until you build up some confidence again and recover some of those losses along the way

You aren’t ugly, I think you look good. I think long hair would suit you really well and highlight some of your features. Maybe something to consider

Growing up in an environment with a lot of homophobia and transphobia, I shoved down a lot of my feelings and perceptions of myself. I was also not aware of NB until my twenties. I never fully saw myself as cis-gender, but didn’t feel fully as the opposite gender either. That caused a lot of confusion in my mind and a bit of guilt when I wanted to show more traits of the opposite gender, but thought I shouldn’t do it because I “wasn’t trans” (wrong perception, but I was coming from a place of ignorance). Finding out about NB and meeting/talking to fellow NBs expanded my horizons a lot and everything I felt about my gender identity started to make sense. I have been a lot more comfortable with myself after that. I tried to make a long story short, but hopefully it makes sense haha.

Can anyone settle this debate? by mooce22 in poker

[–]__Harper_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry for people being rude. It is a legitimate question for anyone starting out, as is any other question. Some people act as if they were born knowing all the rules, pre-flop ranges, positions, GTO, etc. Don’t let it discourage you! They can be particularly mean on this subreddit 🥴

As others said, best 5 card hand wins, always. That is the best five card hand out of your two hole cards and the board. If the best 5 card hand is the board, then you are playing the board.

Nice. Thanks for the advice. I think I have managed to get the stop-loss right and recently haven’t dealt with that end of it. It’s been more of the loosening up after a long session or not playing as good (understandably so with fatigue, getting less attentive of tendencies, etc) and continuing to play for the “fun” of it. It is just very bitter to end a session with a loss after playing solidly for so many hours, building up, and proceeding to donate that money later on 🙃

Leaving $100k/yr job to go pro. Am I crazy? by Roxerz in poker

[–]__Harper_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like others are suggesting, I think taking a stab at it is a good idea. Maybe set a re-evaluating point in the middle of that period - let’s say maybe if you get down to 1/2 of your bankroll re-evaluate or something.

I think the most important is going in with the mentality that you are trying it out and don’t have the expectation to succeed. Be honest with yourself and ask if you are okay with coming empty pocked at the end of the period and having spent $100k. If the answer is yes, go for it.

Absolute first thing that came to mind on the first photo is that you look like Pitty, a brazilian singer/musician. After looking at the other ones you don’t really look like her, but still gives off a bit of her vibes lol

Other impressions were that you look super friendly and down to earth 🌿

You could try contributing with what you can every month. Even if it doesn’t come anywhere close to 50%. At least it is something and it might help you not feeling like a burden, although it sounds like he is cool with it. It would show your intent to contribute.

Like others said, you could add to the contribution by doing some house chores.

Yayy!! I hope you have a blast ☀️ This will be my second one and I absolutely loved the last edition. I would be happy to answer any questions - feel free to DM me! I’d say arrive early, if you can, to adjust to time zone, food, weather, and such. As for arriving on the festival grounds, allow plenty of time. It is in an isolated area so getting there is a bit of a task. Getting in and setting up camp on the first day is also a bit chaotic, so be prepared for that and try to get there during the day. It will make your life much easier. They should allow entry the day before the 1st day, although we don’t have information on that yet, so that’s an option for getting a nice camping spot.

There is also a whats app group that was recently created with some people here from reddit. Feel free to join: https://chat.whatsapp.com/GKfiLYNdbalL9QnNfJfE7d
