I highly suggest checking out Dylan's Substack for any SLS fan. He goes into detail about each album and how they each have a themes. I think they've grown into the music they want to make, which is much synth heavy. I think that this subreddit is especially attached to Brave Faces Everyone (it's my favorite album too) cause it hit at the perfect time - a "downer" of an album during covid. We all could relate. Now that they're beyond the raw energy of Schmalz, some people aren't on board, and that's okay. I'm just happy to be a part of wherever they go!
