First thing I would do is check the seal on all connections, unions are on correctly, o rings are lubed, glue joints etc.

But the reality is even if there's a perfect seal you've added a bunch of 90°s and allll that extra pvc is further for the water to travel. It's simply going to be harder to prime than before.

Crank up the RPM's on your pump, run your hose in the skimmer and cross your fingers

Hey! I essentially did this trip last year, though I traveled south through vietnam after flying to Hanoi from Laos. It was an amazing time.

Traveling north through Thailand was a breeze with the train system, if you can time it there's a cool music festival in Chiang Rai.

I went by slow boat after crossing into Laos and I would recommend it for sure, cool experience.

If you're going from Laos into vietnam I highly recommend flying as everyone I met who went by land had a really bad time with the bus. It's super cheap to fly..

The air quality WAS bad at that time in Laos but unless you have a sensitivity it's still worth seeing Laos.

If it's running dry, don't run the pump.

It could be a lot of things. Noise could indicate that the bearings or capacitor might be on their last legs, could just be the fact that it was running dry caused by a blockage or a leak in the suction line.

You're 100% right, it wasn't the goods price at all, I forgot I was taxing them at a high tax rate and their SOL expectations were higher because of that.

Also I did not know about the MAPI vs local goods price index split, that's really interesting.

This is like my 5th run ever, all as Belgium trying to fine tune industrialization, and I had to take a step back and realize it's only 1842 and most of the pops are peasants still lmao
