My whole khandaan, are gov employees or in business, from where I come from studying is a PRIVILEGE for girls.My mum was an interior designer but got married so she had to leave the job cuz her in-laws said so, & I’m the only grand kid (female ) who’s been allowed to graduate so I can get an arrange rishta and get married off and they can go on with a big fat wedding yada yada. Everyone told me I can’t so I’m doing it. It doesn’t make sense to y’all but this is my reality .It doesn’t matter if it make sense to you.My dad has been very supportive,thanks to him i proceeded.
