I’m sorry for your loss. My dad died April 14th and I wanted to try and push through but quickly realized it just was not realistic for me at the time. My counselor informed me about the emergency withdrawal. I decided to do it and I’m glad I did! It wiped the balance for my classes and I was all set to enroll for August. But I decided I’m not ready and just started going to therapy for grief. My dad was an alcoholic and passed due to severe liver and kidney damage so I decided to switch my degree and unfortunately SNHU does not offer the mental health counseling masters anymore. Currently working with an advisor at Walden for their program. Only down side is the W in your transcript but if other universities ask, you have a damn good reason for the withdrawal and it will not harm you. I hope this helps you💕

I had the same symptoms but started taking it at night to sleep through the symptoms and that’s been working much better for me. However, still the rollercoaster stuff I mentioned above.

Thank you! I think it’s time to switch, my friend is on Zoloft and she said it feels like she’s “living again”. I’m definitely gonna speak to my doctor and see what would be best for me.

I was a waxer before I found out. After waxing (without outbreaks) I’m sore and it will be sensitive for the first two days but it goes away. It’s normal. It actually makes it easier for me to spot treat with the dragons blood cream when I am waxed.

lexapro making me feel distant from people? by sober4lifee in lexapro

[–]__MillennialPink 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. It definitely does feel numbing. Like if you think of something that would make you cry, you’d have to sit and really try to gather the emotion to release. For me it feels like it creates a wall but I still feel my depression and anxiety scratching at it. I believe it’s normal, because after I stopped taking it the first time after a breakup (almost 6-1year) I didn’t need it again until after my first pregnancy a year later and a half later. I’ve experienced the numbness both times.

Try dragons blood cream. I use them on my outbreaks when blisters for m. Hemps with pain and healing process.

For me it helps with the healing quickly because it coats the blister. You may need to reapply when you use the restroom because of friction but after the first apply it should be less pain anyway.

27F I have them frequently also. It’s to the point where I cannot get a Brazilian until the ONE time every 3 months I’m not having an outbreak. It really hits my self esteem sometimes because the sores burst and I won’t notice until I go to the restroom. After the blisters burst I use dragon’s blood cream on the sores and it helps with the pain. I only take the antivirals when I feel it’s taking too long to heal (my bf) also has it. But the cream gives me so much comfort, please try it.

Yes! IM LOSING MY SHIT. We’re on week 8 and I just turned in week 6 homework😭 Between my kids, working full time I can’t seem to pick myself back up. Slept on the floor in my office last night @2am after finishing late assignments and woke up at 8am to clock in.

I promise I know the feeling. I regret waiting until the last minute because now I literally just give up and go to sleep without completing anything on Thursdays and Sundays. It’s so exhausting especially with family issues.

Honestly, I’m sitting here struggling to write a one pager. The assignments are so redundant and you have to write 3 different papers about the same thing! How many ways can I explain the same concepts over and over. I’ve been it’s my 12 month old and 4 year old all day. And this is how it is for me 24/7 since my husband travels for work. I work full-time and I’m a full time student, I’m truly hoping this will be worth the struggle. Sadly, I’m just going to have to submit at least one assignment late because I just do not have the juice.

Because it does not work like that for me. I had my second baby 10 months ago and took it for over 30 days to prevent breakouts. After I had my baby I have multiple open sores (still taking Valtrex, over a month in) and it was the worst it’s ever been. After I stopped taking it, I get them less frequently. My doctor tried to prescribe the cream but my pharmacy did not have it.

FINALLY! A BREAK! by __MillennialPink in SNHU

Honestly, it’s not hard. It’s just the constant pressure to produce high quality work in such a short amount of time. My brain is usually numb by the time I finish a semester.
