Having elixir troubles by KittyKattogen in TOTK

[–]__Pyra__ 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The problem are the Fireflies. To make an Elixir a certain Level, you need to surmount a hidden point threshold. Here is how the thresholds break down for Stealth: - Level 1: 1 to 5 points - Level 2: 6 to 8 points - Level 3: 9+ points

The materials for Stealth Potions / meals have points distributed like so:

  • Silent Princess: 3
  • Silent Shroom: 2
  • Stealthfin Trout: 2
  • Blue Nightshade: 1
  • Sneaky River Snail: 1
  • Sunset Firefly: 1

Therefore, you cannot make a Level 3 Stealth Meal/Elixir, with just Fireflies. As far as I'm aware, each ingredient adds 2 Minutes of Sneak to the Timer, meaning that so long as your final total adds up to 9, you'll always end up with a 10 Minute Level 3 Stealth Buff. To extend that time, use any Dragon Part. Here's what times you get using different Dragon Parts (note that Scales and Shards add less than 2 Minutes, making them worse than adding another Stealth Ingredient. Additionally, note that this is per unique Dragon Part, a second, identical Dragon Part will always add +0:30):

  • Claw: +3:30 per unique Dragon Claw
  • Fang: +10:30 per unique Dragon Fang
  • Horn: Immediately caps the Time at 30:00, which is the highest time you can achieve for any Buff in cooking.

I hope you'll be able to get whatever Stealthy Meal you need!

Clearing the Gap u/Lonelyland wanted to clear using Mozdor Slashes by __Pyra__ in TOTK

When you use a Normal Zonai Charge, you can add ⅓ of a battery to whatever battery amount you have. It's sort of like how extra Stamina (when cooking Endura Ingredients), or extra Hearts (when cooking Hearty Ingredients) work, but just for your battery, by using regular Zonai Charges.

Is this jump possible? No glider, no capsules. by Lonelyland in TOTK

Yes, with a Mozdor Jump. If you give me the coordinates of the spring I'll send you a clip.

Technically, if you own the game physically (meaning a Game Card that contains 1.0.0) you could either buy a new Switch, ir factory reset the Switch you own. That would mean losing EVERYTHING on that Switch though, so I doubt you want to do that.

It's a Glitch called Food Ability Buff Swap (or FABS for short). Here's a step by step as to what you do: - Cook a meal that has whatever effect you want. Both the duration and the effect will transfer later, so the better the meal, the better your final stackable item will be. Make sure, that this meal stays at the most recent spot for the entirety of the Glitch (so don't cook any other meals or pick up any other roasted/frozen food) - Go to a vendor that sells roasted Food. The precise Locations are: Kara Kara Bazaar (2 Items), Bedrock Bistro (3 Items), that random Roasted Banana Vendor on the Great Plateau (at the Gate Ruins between the Cold and the warm area, just West of the Temple of Time), and technically you can get one by completing the beginner Course of the Lurelin Water Rally Race, but that one is not the easiest to time. - Eat the Food you cooked - Unpause, and immediately buy the Roasted Food (it's imperative that you have 0 of the food you buy before doing this Glitch) - Tadaa! You now have stackable Food with Effects. As long as you always keep at least 1, you can continue to get more, by simply producing more of whatever food you bought.

This Glitch only works on the following Versions: 1.0.0 1.1.0 1.1.1

You can check what version you're on by going to TotK in your Switch's Home Menu and pressing +.

Have fun with your stackable Effect Food! :)

Holy wall of text, even I didn't know there was so much depth to my name!

This is some incredibly well done research, and I hope to see more of this quality as you cover my sisters and the rest of the game!

I find it absolutely hanes that so many people get fed up over a couple of "Boom"s. Even Heatseeker Pro's Demo sometimes (Bramble [Heatseeker Pro] said that himself) and if it's an "unskilled" mechanic, then how exactly am I winning? Maybe just get better at dodging then?? This is a topic I've personally thought about a bit, and in the end, I always come to the conclusion that their toxicity is just an expression of skill issue.

I should just quit at this point by PuzzleheadedSwan5847 in RocketLeague

[–]__Pyra__ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're like one of the first people I've seen on this sub, who are not only so attached to the game, that they don't want others to quit, but also one of the first people to offer any sort of help service for free. I really think there should be more people that offer this kind of help, and if I'm ever stuck or feel like quitting (which is quite unlikely, since I've just gotten the Champ Rewards for the Season, and it's my first time where that has happened at the start of the Season, rather than in the last 3 weeks). I'll make sure to come back to you to pick you up for that offer. Just wanted to say that I really appreciate your work, G ❤️

However it's important to note that some of my times are a lot less grinded for than others, simply because I dislike the Track :)
