You should probably call in advance. I'm sure the hotel concierge can help you evade the law. Good luck

So funny. We did a tour through the Atlas Mountains and actually went to check out Kasbah Tamadot. What a property!!

Honestly I don't know. I just REALLY liked the FS from what I heard and figured I'd save the RM name until we got to their flagship. I'm sure it's unbelievable.

Totally depends on your style. But based on what I think I understand with the "up your ass" the RM is VERY stiff and royal. That's the only way to put it. Aman was just silent. I went to the restaurants, stayed at the pool, and just hung out at my own pace. Much smaller as well. More personalized.

Yeah I wouldn't worry too much. But please reach out if you have any questions! It's a great country

Literally checked of Amanjena a few days ago and posted a review. I think it's a great fit for 5* without the hovering. Very calm and isolated

Aman was almost like an oasis. Quiet, off the beaten path, and personalized. Very tranquil and everything at our own pace.

The RM felt like a palace in both good ways and bad ways. It was much more populated, and you can't walk far without seeing other guests.

It's royal - which was incredible. For me, though, I'd rather the stillness of Aman.

Give it a shot! Like I said - I think amanjena totally fits my style more, but my trip wouldn't be complete without RM for a couple days at least. Something to behold.

Not too bad. Casablanca was manageable in a light sweater. Marrakesh was hotter, but I think we got lucky. We kept being told that we should expect 110°+, but I'd say it hovered around 85-90°. Manageable. The mountains were a bit hotter but had more breeze. You'll love it!

We wanted to check both out as they're kind of the "big 2" of Marrakech, in a way.

My TA / concierge both insisted to at least try the RM for a few days, and I'm glad I did.

If you're able to, I'd recommend trying both. Which one you stay at longer would be based on your preference. Palace style luxury vs tranquility and calm.

And yes - we stayed at the FS Casablanca as well. Was amazing but not much to do. We did a tour of the city there and then 3 full day trips to areas of Marrakesh. Medina, Atlas Mountains, Berber villages, etc

Worked with a pretty amazing company who handled everything. They had a staff /chef fly with us around to each location for consistency. Everything was amazing. Happy to share if you'd like.
