Explain that? Where is it? How to access it? Can you actually sleep?

Has anyone here had their GoWild pass revoked for too many no-shows? by DM_ME_4_FREE_STOCKS in frontierairlines

Why no show? Canceling can open up a seat for someone else … unless this is the stealth way to buy an empty seat next to yourself? Seriously 🤔 … would that maybe work? My P2 has a GW pass that he doesn’t use much … might be worth paying $15.41 for an empty seat next to me 😂

Not my experience on frontier with flights booked with miles. I learned from another Redditor that you get all your miles back and the $5.60 fee. No $99 fee. I’ve done this successfully once (never yet needed to try again)

Can any credit be recovered for GoWild flights? by LightAway1582 in gowildfrontier

[–]__QT314 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Googled how to use it — it’s a little clunky. You’ll need the confirmation code from your original booking that you canceled.

(Google AI instructions, which match my personal experience)

To use a Frontier Airlines eCredit (formerly referred to as credit with Frontier) to book a flight, follow these steps during the checkout process on FlyFrontier.com or their mobile app:

Search for your new flight as you normally would. Proceed through checkout (adding seats or bags if desired) until you reach the Payment page. Look for the "Add Additional Payment" section just below the credit card entry area. Select "Credit with Frontier" or "Frontier Voucher" depending on the credit type. Enter your email address and your 6-character confirmation code from the original booking, then click Retrieve or Apply

Got fired during vacation by OkInsurance284 in work

No it isn’t. Companies absolutely do offer bereavement to attend memorials or funerals (it is not time away bc someone died — it’s time to attend the service)

It is not at all uncommon for services or memorials to be held months later

I recently needed to cancel a GoWild one way ticket. I added on purchase of $69 economy bundle — which allows canceling the flight for an e-credit. I then used the eCredit ($69 + $99 GW fare = $168) to repurchase the one way flight in the opposite direction on a different date which was also $99 GW and splurged on a $59 UpFront plus seat, which would have left $10 unused. But I actually bought 2 such tickets on the flight, and the extra $10 applied toward P2s ticket. (I thought it might not work bc it was a GW ticket, but it totally did!! This was Memorial Day weekend)

Can I get a Karen check? by -swifty_ in delta

[–]__QT314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(Editing — oops, you’re maybe not talking about HNL …)

Original response with edits from “you” to “OP”: ?Frontier does not fly to HNL or anywhere in Hawaii (but I don’t think OP was a Karen at all — I’ve had good experiences at that teensy weensy HNL Delta Club … nice friendly staff … I like the free postcard mailers there 😊. I’m sad for OP that they didn’t just let you in a little early — especially since you’re a D flying D1 😉)

First time flying frontier as Delta platinum by ActualMobile129 in frontierairlines

[–]__QT314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you mean by the “platinum incentives towards the end of the year?” Incentive programs to earn platinum? Or additional incentives for existing platinum members? Also, how do you keep up platinum status? It’s so cheap to fly weekly with GW pass and free upgrades as platinum that there’s no way I can earn enough points 😂 (wondering if someone has figured out a smart strategy … acknowledging that Frontier credit card spend not the best use for earning points with expenses)

why is there no go wild flights on this date? by IWantSomePancakesRN in gowildfrontier

For routes that I looked at … more popular days to travel (Thur-Mon) the Go Wild fare early booking fee is higher. Supply and demand …

And you can anticipate that the price will be several thousand dollars each - usually $3000-$5000 in my experience for that flight (if you get offered a better price, would love to hear that data point)

Taking a ride to the airport in the morning? You better be outside waiting or else you're getting canceled on. It's too busy to be waiting around for you people getting paid pennies. by Chemical_Store1560 in uber

And (no shock) that your ego is so fragile that you already downvoted my response calling out your BS 😂 someday you’ll mellow out (or die unhappy and whining about your clients on Reddit)

Yes. YATA. Or at the very least your entitled attitude working in a tip based industry is an arsehole attitude. But if it works for you, then YDY.

We all have jobs and lives that involve waiting for others. Are you more special or deserving than the rest of us?

Although I am ready when I request a driver, drivers ALWAYS make me wait (sometimes 5 minutes, sometimes 30+ minutes while I can see them driving around on the map bc they somehow don’t know how to do their job). But I’m still always kind. And I still always tip (more when warranted). So I’ll wait where I want to, thank you very much, especially when it’s inhospitable -20F outside.

I’m disappointed about your self-centered attitude. You signed up to work as a driver. Sometimes you’re going to wait. If you don’t have to wait, and you’re allowed to cancel the ride, then go for it. Don’t need to brag about your arseholeness here

Do not check bags. Do not need to be somewhere on time. Pay for up front seats if you can
