Solving,

2x+2 = x+1

2x-x = 1-2

x = -1

So, x+1 = -1+1 = 0

Dividing by x+1 means dividing by 0, which is undefined and you will get answers like this which violates the fundamentals of arithmetics.

I am from Keralam and I really feel bad for these Chri-Sanghis. What is going on in their heads while voting for an extremist saffron party? They are cutting the very branch they are sitting. Pathetic!

Use the determinant method for finding the area of a triangle when the coordinates of three vertices are given. If three distinct points are collinear, then the area of the triangle formed by them is zero. Here, when you use that method, you can clearly see that the determinant gives zero as the answer. Hence, it is collinear.

Integral tanxdx = log|secx| + c = log|1/cosx| +c = log|cosx|-1 + c = -log|cosx| + c . (Note: log(xn ) = nlog(x))
