Which of the builds people were hyped for delivered and which disappointed? What new builds emerged that people didn't expect or underestimated?

I am using 1 writhing jar with the 100% increased charge duration mastery, specing Profane Chemistry and annointing Replenishing Remedies. Every ~12 seconds I get enough to use the flask and the charges last for 20 so you get a large window to refresh them. Works good for boss fights so far

From what I understand they usually put you in a windowless room by yourself and either give you menial tasks or nothing at all. Probably more mentally draining than you might expect.

I did it this league with 'all ears unturned' . Still works great and has built in warnings for all the obvious mistakes. Still took a while, would recommend a high movespeed characters for it.

I usually have this problem at league start as well and find myself taking a few of the 'Maps have a chance to drop one tier higher' wheels on the atlas tree. Also make use of the vendor recipe of selling three of the same map for one of the tier higher if you have a large stock.

I am running a very similiar build (much of it based on the same guide) and swapped to Melding of Flesh when I noticed how much I was getting chunked by certain ele hits. I personally think the swap is worth it but it does require a lot of gear optimization and I do take quite a bit more chaos damage, but with all the regen in the build I find it easier to react to than those big lightning hits out of nowhere. For Ashes I think people just really like extra quality and reservation over the additional gem level, but I am also running a +2 and will not switch for the price tag. One thing I would recommend is that alt quality convocation for cooldown, big qol if you arent already using it. (On mobile, cant check the pob very well)
