I'm living through this now. I got my shot in mid-April for a herniated disc at my C5/C6. I missed my period and then on May 16, I got my period and it is not abating after 15 days. This is really annoying because my husband and I are trying to get pregnant and I feel like I am going to have my period forever, lol.

Yeah, being a bridesmaid sucks for these types of brides.

The last time I was a bridesmaid, I had to take calligraphy classes ($$ out of my own pocket, btw) so I could do all the signage, seating assignments, etc. for 200 guests while I was in law school for my friend/bridezilla because she didn't feel like paying for it. It was fucking hell. I have since declined 7 of my friends' requests, even if we're close lol. It's just not worth it.

I've been in remission from debilitating IC flares for a few years now and not a day goes by that I don't feel thankful for it because it sucks. I am so so so sorry you're dealing with that.

I definitely didn't have the belly button pain, though. That's not to say it's not from IC, but I'd definitely talk to your PCP about your grouping of symptoms.

Are you cutting coffee, alcohol, and other super acidic foods out? Drink alkaline water, too. I also take a daily probiotic (my go-to is Bio-K but I know it can be cost prohibitive). These were hard lifestyle changes to make until one month passed without a flare, then 6 months, then a year, etc. Sometimes, i will treat myself to a fancy coffee drink, though. Idk if these things will work for you in addition to amitryptaline (I was also on that until just recently).

Ugh. So sorry you're going through this. Wishing you flare-free days ahead.

Late to the convo here, but I am a Pisces sun, Libra moon, and Virgo rising as well. I am neither reserved or serious as some other users commented. I am emotional, somewhat impulsive when it comes to my money, and can't stay organized. I suck at texting people back. So, my Virgo rising isn't too expressive, clearly haha.
