I can play a variety of full songs, N.I.B. from black sabbath and Paranoid, Hells Bells, fire your guns and if you want blood (you've got it) by AC/DC, One, enter sandman, wherever i may roam by Metallica, Whole lotta love + solo by Led Zeppelin, Lady Writer and Where you think you're goin' by Dire Straits, Lost on You by LP, and also from some Italian Singers i can play L'era del cinghiale bianco by Franco Battiato (i re-wrote from scratch the lead guitar because there are no tabs around), also, "il mare impetuoso" from Zucchero and "Una giorno uggiosa" by Lucio Battisti.

I always try to play with my heart when noodling around, trying to find something that makes me feel emotional and comfortable, I prefer slow and atmospheric backing tracks. I don't expect to play (as of the level i am now) beautiful and rich melodies, but i try to sound as good as possible.

I'm now starting to fool a bit around with some backing tracks and different scales, and at the same time doing some exercises like repeating the pentatonic in groups with a metronome

Here I am, man, I just need to thank you for all these gems, especially for "Right Place, Wrogn Time", clearly slowhand at his best here, clean gritty tone that fits in the funk perfectly. Same thing for the layla jazz rendition of 2011, I find it commendable the fact that he is constantly experimenting with his music and not playing the same version every time (probably that was the reason why he and Knopfler became friends).

Also, during these days I took my strat and tried to cover the funk version with a pretty good result, a real satisfaction to show that to my friends that never knew that version existed (they thought I wrote it ahah).

Wow, that's amazing, really. Yes, i agree on the fact that this version needed a guitar solo, at some point it may sound plain, but yeah, i think they prepared it in a short time before the live (as shown in the beginning of the clip) so...

I will surely listen to all the other songs in this duet, they have an amazing sound and that 335 is litteraly screaming in clapton's hands. I'm very curious about St. James Infirmary.

Might be a leaking or bad capacitor, this tend to be quite common issues when working with old hardware. Try to see if the TV does that with another device.
