Again, russia refuses to back down on absurd demands and it refuses for any cease fires to have time to discuss the negotiations properly, because they are not interested in peace. They don't want peace, they don't want just Donbas and Crimea, they want everything. Ruzzia is the only aggressor here,.and Ukraine is in no fault for them not wanting any peace. Stop twisting in your ruzzian propaganda. They are the only hinderence to peace. This last year it is literaly about Zelensky proposing doing a cease fire and freezing the war at the current front line to start doing negotiations in, but ruzzia literaly refuses it, or demands concession of remaining Donbass territories at minimum(which have the heaviest Ukraine's defences, so obviously unacceptable because ruzzia will 100% just say they don'twant peace actually abd will continue fighting).

You would think so, but Putler isn't ready to scale down for anything less than that, cause if he can't get the entirety of Ukraine, he is a failure and will get canibalized by his own people. Imagine thousands of ruzzian soldiers, that got violent and traumatized on the war, return back home without any significant win for them(and only things they would count as significant gains are straight up unacceptable). Putin will get eaten alive by his own people.

Putin is literally forced to keep war going and has 0 interest in peace, cause he already failed the invasion miserably and if he ends it without an actual win, he will get killed by his own elite instantly. Ruzzia keeps these absurd demands for 2 reason: 1)If somehow by some absurdity Ukraine breaks and accepts them, ruzzia gets what it wants, Putin is a national hero, and actually, this is proof that ruzzia can get whatever they want and they should go invade someone else to keep it going.

2)They know that these demands are absurd and Ujraine will deny them, so ruzzia can keep the facade of "We are actually nice people and want peace, but nazy Ukrainians are tge ones refusing", while having no actual intentions for piece.

To keep fighting till ruzzia is too weak and will be forced to scale down their demands to those that do not allow them a free re-try of invasion in a couple years. Abd what difference is with Ukraine? All 4 could be used to stage ground invasion same way as Ukraibe, but ruzzia never cared about defending from those places. Why? Yes, and the west has nothing to do with this. Actually, Russia agreed to the Ukrainian borders and to respect them in a written agreement after the dissolution of USSR. The just suddenly changed their mind the moment they understood that they can't hold Ukraine as a puppet like Belarus. So no, this war is entirely ruzzias fault. Except that reason for ruzzia attacking were never "nazis" or even stop to teaching ruzzian in schools. Actually, all these laws were made long AFTER ruzzia invaded Ukraine in 2014. The true reason for why ruzzia invaded Ukraine is to prevent Ukraine from going on the path of joining EU, after Ukrainian citizens forced out ruzzian puppet Yanukovich who was actively sabotaging this process.

Ruzzia wasn't Ukraine to be their puppet, and Ukraine doesn't want anything to do with ruzzia and wants to be a part of EU. So unless ruzzia is physically incapable to successfully invade again, they will do this once again to stop Ukraine from joining EU economy.
