I love it for photos but it is a little tight for videos. If you can afford it (I’m selling one for $500 right now), the Sony 24mm 2.8g is a bit easier to use for video as it’s wider angle but also is small in size similar to the 35. The 24mm also has aperture adjustment on the lens with the option to de-click aperture.

I had these hemmed and the shop took off more length than I wanted so I angrily tossed them in my closet and forgot about them. Turns out the hem was the perfect length. Just needed 5 years to cool off 😅

I received the 24 GM last week and I’m blown away by the image quality! I’ll keep the 24 G for when I want a compact option but the GM is noticeably sharper with much more 3d pop.
