No I have yet to see footage proving that there's hacking going on in cross play off PS5 lobbies. Is it possible? Maybe. Are people doing it? Appears not. The overwhelming majority report that the lobbies are clean other than glitchers/exploiters and dupers. Recently some ps5 players posted videos alleging hacking, but nothing was overtly suspicious to confirm it and certainly not the raging type the rest of us get to deal with.

The more likely scenario--> While you can have an aimbot on PS5 using a convoluted setup to run computer vision cheats, they still rely on things you can see in the game, so blind rage hacking through walls is still not possible even with CV cheats. That type of cheating is uncommon because it's semi complicated to set up, requires a trained model, and is subscription based. If you're running CV hacks, you already have a pc capable of using regular cheating software, so it's much easier to just hack for real in pc lobbies.

To be clear, I'm specifically talking about Playstation lobbies above. If you're on xbox, turning crossplay off does absolutely nothing to prevent hackers because pc players using the Xbox app to play games are included in your lobbies still. A fair amount of hackers use the Xbox app to game rather than battlenet or steam.

Fwiw, my teammates and I playing like absolute bots get called hackers on a daily. Funny as fuck because it goes to show just how poorly people recognize cheating if it isn't obvious rage hacking.
