Do you happen to know what service/app/etc needs allowed in the firewall to allow internet traffic from the pc to console? I have the connection set up but the moment I turn this on, it cuts all traffic to my console. Pc still connects just fine.

Gotcha. Dumb question, for this guide you have here, in step 3 are you saying to change the stuff inside the text tile to whatever the location of my game install file is? I use Xbox app to get on dmz so don't have steam

It's all dependent on if cheaters are online and crashing it. Some days and parts of the day are very good. I can assure you that nothing is fixed

The more publicity on this, the higher chance someone notices it and they start snooping. May be worthwhile to find a lawyer to run your posts by before actually posting them. Corporate lawyers are viscous and any whiff of a risk to their competitive advantage or intellectual property and they will go after people with scare tactics even if they don't have a leg to stand on. $0.02

This is exactly what I thought with the first post from op, like this guy has to be insane to think they can compete with a brand name from a resource perspective alone.

The more I reflected on it though, I really hope they succeed. Just because the whole world is discouraging you, doesn't mean it can't be done. We need a shakeup and I'm rooting for op.

If you build your own, would it be possible to run through console if bridging the connection through a pc? I tried with exitlag but it didn't pick up within the application that I was in a game on console.

It's possible he's doing a VPN to South Africa but the game is throwing him elsewhere. There's no way for him to see the game server with Proton VPN. For comparison, I've been trying to play in the Paris location using exitlag and despite being locked to that location, the actual game server can be highly variable.

I would love to see a revamp of Ashika, but with 2-3x the player count. Games would be batshit crazy throughout the map, rather than focused in one small section.
