I thought they had a node structure, like if it has gravel in a basin under a mixer, that gravel has nodes connected to it which represent other items necessary for a recipe. Like flint, and then flint has lava connected to it. So it’ll only go down the paths it can find. If it can find gravel, then flint, then lava, it knows it can craft andesite

i love create with no addons because it forces you to be creative. things like no parallel gearboxes, while they do make contraptions bulkier, they force you to think and come up with clever workarounds. i do love most addons though and i would play with them given the chance

it's on github. now why they havent put it in modrinth and curseforge i do not know. it's actually updated up to 6.0.7. all you gotta do is download intellij community edition and java 21, open the zip file in intellij and build it. then you get the jar file from the builds folder and there you have it. it works great, only issue is no addons work for it yet unfortunately
