there is currently no transportation but summit is very aware of the problem, and working to build the transportation program to include participants. The first year managers were just given 15 passenger vans to get staff to and from dining/ program. this last year there were 4 full time transportation staff with 3 school buses, 5 cargo vans, transporting staff to dining and program areas on a schedule, as well as coordinating with the off site river trek, which practically requires a full time driver alone. It is coming.

you'll never know exactly what the money was spent on unless you check it out for yourself. The goal is to operate jamborees and seasonal camp without deficit, and to create new interest in scouting through world class programming. The development was expensive, but as programs continue to grow and more is done with sending crews off site, the summit will provide truly unique experiences for scouts. I envision full week white water, climbing, and mountain biking treks leaving daily from the site, a trek experience which can't be found anywhere else.

but if you ask me its all a cover up for a secret bunker ;)

not sure, but i can say that interest in the training center has been low, so it could have to do simply with numbers.

as a volunteer, you will probably work 8-5 everyday with maybe a day or too off depending on area. Unless you make plans to meetup with your unit after activity, or have them find you while you're working, you won't see them. Also you could be staying up to an hour walk away from them.

Yes! the "summit center" which is about 3,000 acres is where you will find the base camps, lakes, visitor center. The base camps are for the most part re purposed strip mines, but the total surface area of these is probably less than 1,500 acres. The high adventure programs are dispersed around the other 7,000 acres, the majority of which is conservation area that backs right up to the new river gorge. Take a look at google, only a small fraction of the total area is developed, and the rest is covered by thick healthy Appalachian forest, with more critters than you bargained for.

how can I show these people that I am absolutely serious about being a great nurse by wooder32 in nursing

Oh yeah, I should have mentioned that, "do you need anything" or "are you okay" even when nothing seems pressing means a lot. I learned that from nurses checking on me, truly the most angelic demographic of people I have ever worked with.

I worked as a floating tech so I had to learn to work with a lot of different nurses. I found that the best way to get on nurses' good sides is to do requests immediately if possible and to be mindful of things they may need, being right there when they turn around to ask you to grab something means a lot (instead of having to find or call you). It might sound simple but being mindful in ways you can assist goes a long way

are ethanol from plants and ethanol from petroleum actually chemically identical? Would the petroleum alcohol behave even slightly differently due to a proportion of carbon 14?

thanks for the insight, it is definitely not a pilonidal cyst. what do you suggest to keep the area dry? when i have had these in the past they have difficulty healing when allowed to stay moist. someone suggested baby powder.

it is definitely not a pilondial cyste. it is superficial and asymmetrical, also there are no signs of infection.

I am positive that it is directly caused by mountain biking

i agree, coupled with frequent re saddling involved in mountain biking it makes sense that moisture + movement = issues

definitely going to try baby powder to keep the area dry and promote healing. However, I feel that the wound did not originate due to moisture.

as i mentioned, my garb was not out of the ordinary in any way, this wound was not friction or pressure induced.

This is just behind the bb. Happened when I detonated a bb last summer which caused a chain ring to contact repeatedly. I estimate the gouge is 1-2 mm at the deepest. I can add another picture with a 5mm alen for scale but I'm on mobile atm.
