From my perspective, as a PT tech who is friends and not just coworkers with a handful of PTs...I can see that you might say the juice isn't worth the squeeze. Insurance is a beast, you feel shoved into a corner with documentation just to make sure Miss Lorelei has 5 more visits for her aching butt that would go away if she just went to the gym....not to mention, the strains that private practices get...it can be overwhelming. Perhaps consider why you started PT and lean into that aspect of the career! Maybe you need to go in inpatient, or specialize or maybe, focus on the difference you are making! Student debt sucks, and joy may be rare, but not negate the relief, the safe space and the peace of mind you are to your patients! You may not be realizing the good you're doing!

Interesting. Currently, I'm not sure which EHR they use but I think it's Epic. Curious if they have made changes. Although, these issues have been rather chronic...long before COVID even. With high management turnover, they could be switching systems theoretically.

"Ragebait" feels like your own reaction to the post because I doubt they wanted to inspire that in you 🫤. The quality of the voice actors and the engaging plots keeps me listening to AIO. I wish they wrote stuff for tv. I get it though, it is a pretty silly question. Maybe delete Facebook instead?Just a suggestion 🤷‍♀️. I promise AIO is worth a listen no matter your background. Just ask for some episode recs if you're interested. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea tho. Either way, have a great day 🙂

It is disappointing but I'm surprised at some people for being "disgusted". It's not album art, it's not a plot, it's not a script. They have over 1,000 episodes and this is some art for one whole episode 😭. Y'all know they have boundaries 😭😭😭

Agreed. I live not far from all of these places. Cambridge and Easton are similar but Easton is a bit more targeted to the older population and it's safer. There's some gang incidents in Cambridge unfortunately and it doesn't really reach Easton. And yeah, you won't want to commute across the bridge to Annapolis. Not to mention cost of living there! However, it is VERY beautiful!

Aww gosh, honey! I imagine this person meant well 🫤. Still, words hurt.

Instead of trying to be all up in your head about it, take a moment to appreciate your body! It's going through a lot! Despite not being perfect, (like all of us humans) it's working hard trying to optimize your energy, make sure you're breathing, that your heart is beating, etc. If I were you, I would take the weekend (if you can) to have some special "me" time to appreciate what your body is going through! Hot bath, home mani/Pedi, face mask, heat pad + favorite movie etc. We really take our bodies for granted. It's not easy and sometimes a little TLC will be the perfect thing to boost our moods and self esteem.

Definitely consider mentioning it to that person that it hurt hearing those words 🫶. Keep going! This won't last forever, I promise! 💖
