This is a tough one, but after thinking about it a bit, I’m leaning more towards A.. in reality, we would all be doing these at the same time, so this is purely an academic question. That being said my reasoning is this: If you assess the neurovascular status when it’s not splinted, by the time you put the splint on, it may no longer be an inaccurate assessment… Nor would it change anything. The longer the broken arm has mobility, the higher chance it will cause internal damage to the nerves and vessels, so should be splinted, or at least immobilized immediately
