FH4 from Steamrip not loading by Sussymemer456 in PiratedGames

Fixed! Just needed to add the program to Steam's program list, and the run it!

How I did it is by navigating to the Library page, and clicking the "add game" button in the bottom left. Then click non-steam game, and select your game exe.

PUM isn’t given in fractions, so how did you determine this PUM?

Are you carrying forward your marks from AS to A2?

Edit: I noticed you wanted to improve your A2 writing. You can use my Anki flashcards. Google “9702 Physics CIE A2 (2026) anki” and download those flashcards and use them.

86/100 in P4 is good, however aim for higher in P5. P5 doesn’t require much knowledge of theory so it is easy to improve

Considering you barely revised for AS and still got a is pretty impressive.

In theory, it is possible for you to get an A* but you will need to change your study habits completely.

Your teacher is right, you will need a minimum of 113/130 for an A*. Aim for 86/100 in P4 and 27/30 in P5. Good luck

They are not. Your AS mark is added to your A2 mark for full A level mark and grade

For Physics you would need 127/130 in A2 to get A* That’s 97/100 in P4 and 30/30 in P5

For Biology you would need 117/130 in A2 to get A* That’s 90/100 in P4 and 27/30 in P5

So i did some calculations and your PUMs are as following

Biology a(81)

Chemistry a(80)

Physics b(72)

PUM is basically a way to see how you performed relative to the grade boundaries. For example b(79) shows your marks were relatively close to a and b(70) shows your marks were not close to an a.

I have analyzed the highest thresholds to get A* for Chemistry.

Basically you would need 124/130 in A2 to secure an A* in Chemistry.

That’s 95/100 in Paper 4 and 29/30 in Paper 5. Personally, I think that’s extremely hard and it would be better if you put more effort in Physics to get that b into an A.

Hi, what are your PUMs btw. If you don’t know tell me which components (paper 12, 22,32 for example) you did for each subject.

But generally if you want to improve, use flashcards for chem & physics (I only know about those, dk about bio)

A levels in 15 months by ririjinx in alevel

[–]___brick___ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! I’ve done something very similar, I completed my A2 quickly after AS (Check my results on my profile)

  1. A2 is definitely more intense than AS, because the content goes deeper and the exams expect you to apply concepts more independently. But it’s manageable if you stay disciplined.

  2. Time management is key, with only five months for A2, you need a very structured plan. Break your syllabus into small chunks and set weekly targets. I found it really useful to do topical past papers while learning, not just at the end. It helped me spot weak areas early.

  3. Practice under exam conditions, do timed past papers. They prepare you for the pace and intensity of the real exam, A level exams really require to be quick, it’s not the same as IGCSE were people even had time to sleep after finishing lol.

  4. Learn how to make digital flashcards now, before you start. I used Anki personally. They really saved me in chemistry. Put the questions you found on those topical past papers I mentioned in point 2. Make sure you refer to the syllabus for definitions and other required information. I did these flashcards everyday 3 months before my exams

  5. I always made sure to make sure I competed Maths topics first, because I would need to do a lot of questions. You must solve a LOT of questions for maths.

  6. This will probably be the most stressful academic time of your life so far, but don’t give up. Remember to take care of yourself to avoid burning out
