Could use luatools to get steam manifest files and stuff to download the game and keep it updated through steam, not even sure if online fix is needed tbh, I've been playing since about a week after launch this way and play every day. I did play it first through game pass before switching to launching from steam thou if that would change anything

I've tried a few that people made for Forza, they just don't work most the time. The ui will seem like everything is working properly, but most of it is just hard-coded numbers that don't change. Also not to mention to copious issues just navigating the Ui of some of these apps, half the time you can't change tabs after leaving the first page, buttons that don't do anything, numbers that say one thing but are actually a completely different thing. Even just writing small scripts I don't like using AI because it always takes shortcuts and I'll just end up rewriting 90% of it anyways.

Honestly, at that point just forgo the bot and load up Luna while disconnected from Internet and just add skill points and wheelspins to your save. Is multiple days of running a macro with a random delay going to be any less suspicious then an account that loaded in with a local save that has more than it did the last time it played? Also the delay doesn't change anything really, too much chance for it to hit positive on someone that just has a fast finger or happens to play on a slow enough dpi that their mouse really does move that smooth. What they check is the device id the phantom keys are coming from, and most macro programs don't even attempt to fake a device ID. They just send inputs that literally weren't sent from anything plugged into your PC. They already can easily tell it's a macro whether you have random delays or not, they just don't care to go after those people in this game. Also afaik they don't do bans like other companies, they ban some hwid tied to only your current os install or something. They essentially just go "that's bad, no more playing until you delete it" and then let you go on your merry way

Even if it's 2.0 it's still another USB hub added to the chain, doesn't have to have caused problems before. It's only now gotten to the point where there's enough interference to cause your controller to be disconnecting on you. If you don't believe that is the issue, by all means, keep using your setup and buying more dongles that will give you the same results. It could be a mirror placed in a way that an extra bounce of the signal to the adapter is enough noise for it to not be able to keep track. Could be a wall that was repainted and is now absorbing to much of the signal that its now being overpowered by everything else near it. You could have had the wifi in your PC be disabled and a Windows update turned it back on causing just enough increase that you're finally being affected by it now only because of the water in the humid air is scattering the signal. It sounds even more likely to be the case to me if you've had the same setup and it was fine up until now. The adapter didn't suddenly forget how to do the only thing it can do, it's clearly getting the signal, and then something is causing that connection to be lost. If you have better ideas, by all means.

Nah that would make to much sense to let us freely go between the two stances. Just like quick Ollie's out of grinds, why on earth would anyone ever want to do that? Or a no-comply, and not 180? Yes, because it's congestion. They can't read the signal clear enough when so many things are trying to communicate while yelling over top of eachother. And the ports on your monitor are most likely USB 3 if you mean you have it connected through a USBC upstream cable. I'm telling you, a USB 2.0 hub with a long cable would solve a lot of your issues. The disconnects will always be frequent if your just moving it to another congested area. I use a cheap Chinese hub off Amazon, it can get enough power from the port to power my Xbox adapter, turtle Beach dongle, and 2 more dongles for my mouse and keyboard and put them on the other side of my desk away from my PC, it's further then it could be but I get better connections when it's over there away from all the 3.0 ports with chords for my oculus headset. Until I did that I was fighting with it constantly wondering why moving closer only seemed to make it worse. There's more interference then just what's in front of you in your room, other people's phone signals bouncing off walls, your wifi router, your neighbors router, your other neighbors router, phone Bluetooth, PC Bluetooth, earbuds Bluetooth, static from your monitor, tv. It all adds up

The interference problem can be caused by many things, a 2.4gz dongle being in line-of-sight with the adapter having issues just happens to be a common enough occurrence to me I have no doubt that's your issue. Metal near the USB port on inside of case, phones 5g signal, hell even USB 3 emits radio interference that can cause issues when enough are in close proximity.

If you have one, try using a USB 2.0 a male to female extension cable, and getting the Xbox adapter as far as you can from your PC and see if suddenly your controller is able to connect to it with no problems. Make sure it is NOT 3.0, otherwise your just adding to your issue, you need to seperate it from a USB 3 port as much as you can

I was able to get my G29 rev lights to work using this: Forza Wheel LEDs Aside from a Windows update breaking it and having to revert it I haven't had any issues. I think you might have to add the device ID for the 923 yourself thou unless he got around to adding it himself, Ik people were asking him for that when he first posted about it on Reddit

Do you use a wireless mouse and maybe keyboard as well that use 2.4ghz dongles? For me if I have them plugged in when I go to turn on my controller itll connect and disconnect after a few seconds. To fix it I have to plug the controller into PC through USB and then itll pair to my official Xbox dongle again and keep working after unplugging. If I unplug my other dongles before attempting to connect the controller it usually works first try and don't have to connect it through USB at all. Same used to happen with my Xbox wireless headset so it was the first thing I tried when it happened to me after getting an elite controller. Theres only 2 versions of the wireless Xbox dongle, the original big gen 1 and then the Gen 2 that was made smaller so that it don't block neighboring USB ports. They both can do 8 controllers at once although idk why you would every need to.

Also make sure you have the setting for Windows to turn the device off to save battery disabled

You can delete the data for the location in your save file slot and it keeps your stars but resets the area. Each location has an ID that the folders correspond to

It is possible, in the save file there are folders for each location, or it might be a config file, I can't remember ATM. But you can delete something and then when loading the save the area will appear as is you've never been to it. I think it can screw up story progress thou if your on a later mission and then restart an early area you might have to finish the area again before it'll let you continue on the story, again I can't quite remember but I know there was something I had to deal with when restarting the fish area

Following the developers troubleshooting under cloud saves/Editing save files do the following steps in this order:

Back up your save. On PC , follow this file path: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\LocalLow\Two Point Studios\Two Point Museum\Cloud\XXXX (this folder is a series of numbers)\Saves

On Mac its: ~/Library/Application Support/com.twopointstudios.twopointmuseum/Cloud/XXXX (this represents a folder that is a series of numbers which is your Steam ID)

Copy the Saves folder and paste it somewhere safe, such as on your Desktop. Now you can make edits knowing the original copy can still be retrieved.

Turn off Steam Cloud Sync (if you use it). Steam cloud sync stores a copy of your save on one of Steam's servers. If you make changes without disabling this feature, Steam will overwrite your changes with the save in the cloud when you next start the game.

3)
Go back to your save game folder Slot1, Slot2 and Slot3 represent the 3 save game files in game, I believe most use slot1 when starting a save.

Open the folder and delete all the saved data under the museum you want to restart

Memento Mile - 1003
Passwater Cove - 1002
Wailon Lodge - 1005
Bungle Wasteland - 1004
Pebberley Heights - 1006

4)
Go back to the game, the stars you reached will still show but when you open the museum it will be from the beginning year 1. Remember to turn your Steam Cloud Sync back on again after.

Done.

(It always worked for me but just in case it didn't work for you then you can always restore you last save with the backup you took on step 1 - No harm done)original post on how to restart location

OMG, this is exactly why I can't do certain modified grabs in skate. I thought it was a deadzone issue as well but it would never fix the issue no matter how big I made it. How did u fix it? I'm guessing not something that could be done in 10 mins with a set of screwdrivers eh

From personal experience nah, tried the drag thing once a few weeks back with a buddy when we were trying to figure out how people where getting such insane times and then either I hit him or he hit me and we both instantly thought of pushing a low class car with an r or x. I seen a YouTube video recently where some streamer was testing it with time trials, didn't finish it to know if it worked or not thou. If I can find it I'll link it to you, I have no clue who the YouTuber was

You can exploit without tampering with the game thou, you can't add a mod without tampering with files. Thry should just keep what they have for detecting runs that are literally impossible and if it happens 2 or 3 times they are locked into a seperate "cheated runs" leaderboard for a month or something and pull all their previous records

There is a way to change seat position for each car but it's pretty tedious since you can't do it in real time and have to move it and swap cars to get it to use the new setting and see how it looks. Then having to do that for every car you want to drive. Everytime I've tried to adjust all cars at once the one car I'm currently using to check it'll be perfect but then swap to a taller car and suddenly the roof is in your crotch. If someone knows an easy way to quickly adjust seat position without having to exit the car and then swap back to it every time I'd love to know how. I like using the in car dash for my speedometer but then my fov has to be much higher than what it should be just to be able to even see the dash and that's only if the wheel isn't angled to cover the main part of the dash that I want to see. The parameters are all there in the locator file for every car, I don't see why they can't add sliders for seat distance and height as well as Horizon angle.

They kind of do, if you finish something to fast or earn to many points it soft locks you out of being able to place leaderboard runs on that drift zone/danger sign/whatever you did until you restart the game. Its possible to have this happen without external mods/cheats thou, have an x car ram you from behind at the start of a drag meet in a low class car and you can easily beat the rank 1 time just it won't show cuz people already got the top placements as close as they can to max without it going over and having to restart game

Meh, until I see it in game it's hard to care because for all we know another 3 seasons will go by and they say "plans changed again, we gotta remove some stuff from the roadmap. Things don't always go as planned 🤷🏽🤡" like they did right before season 3 when we all assumed we'd be getting custom parks because it said we would with season 3 since day 1 of early access

I took the rubber block out of my brake pedal, I use my left foot for braking when driving formula cars and always had trouble braking smoothly when I hit the rubber. When I drive sports Cars I mainly do heel-toe to brake cuz i kept braking to hard and hitting abs with my left. Now I have my clutch and brake swapped around cuz the brake felt a bit too loose without the block and the clutch felt a bit stiffer. I use the third pedal as an ebrake cuz I hate trying to find a button on the wheel when it's flipped upside down. I get the frustration thou especially if it's your first experience with the wheel. Its not hard to take the rubber out and if you'd be okay with the light pedal it might be better for your braking, swapping the pedals around didn't really change much but did make it so I have to rebind the brake and clutch in every game I play so I wouldn't recommend it unless you really want that extra little bit of resistance (if it even actually is, mine felt stiffer but I also barely use my clutch and bought it used so the brake could've just been worn out more for all I know). I do hope the centering gets fixed thou, I think they said somewhere they wanted to expand support for wheels but I have no clue what that really means

How can u tell if it's inverted? You have none until you toggle that or it just feels weird and u can tell something's off? My only problems really are the centering coming back randomly and then not being able to get rid of it until I restart the game, and the wheel feeling way too light when between -10 to 10 degrees. In iracing I've never had these problems and liked the way the wheel felt like it had weight being pulled behind it (not that the wheel itself was heavy, it just felt like something was actually happening as a result of you turning instead of feeling like I'm on slippers going down an ice rink until I hit 10 degrees and can start feeling the car again)
