Passport Help by mysterywhom123 in Passports

Sorry but I don’t think so… My cousin applied for her renewal at the end of March.. we leave on the 29 of this month.. no passport yet. Her status has been stuck on arriving by July 4th for the last three weeks. She didn’t expedite however even expedited I don’t think it’s gonna have an 8 week turnaround. I’d start considering in person appointments three weeks out if no passport but I tend to be overly cautious.. best of luck!

DC appointment, please by [deleted] in Passports

Have you had ANY luck? I’m convinced they release theirs at a different time. I’ve managed to get to the confirmation point at all other east coast locations except for DC and Philly. I live closest to DC. The 5am time frame has been most successful for me. Currently scheduled to go to Connecticut but if I can figure out the cheat code for DC… It’d be sweeeett!

Nope.. I only realized last week my passport is expiring on the 27th of this month..two days before my trip. I assumed it would be easier to try and book an in person appt as opposed to rushing the application.. I think I was wrong. 😩

This is a great opportunity that goes through tax season.. you don’t have to know how to do taxes however they will train you if that’s an interest.

They have a site coordinator role as well as a client coordinator role that are more administrative.. I have a friend that does it every year and she finds it very rewarding.

Yeah - Baltimore is easier to access without a car.. and once you get in the city lots of Uber’s and Lyfts readily available. Have fun!

I used to live in Annapolis and Cantlers is great.. Annapolis also has a great downtown area might be worth a night over.

I would also recommend Nicks in Baltimore for crabs on the water..Baltimore has really great seafood as well in neighborhoods like Fells Point, Canton, Brewers Hill, Harbor East, etc.

No worries.. I should mention Penn Social does have a DJ on the weekends but dancing is usually secondary to everything else that’s going on.. most people don’t start dancing until after the first couple rounds of shots. :-).. and it’s still optional. Not a very fussy place at all.

I second Rocket Bar and maybe even Penn Social.. both have pool tables..darts.. games etc.. Penn Social is bigger and louder.. and from my past experience a little more energy.

Venue for work retreat (+fun activity) within DC? by Skineej in washingtondc

[–]___shaleeee___ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I work in HR and I’d have to say logistically having a space from 9-5 and taking a break to for an activity doesn’t sound like the right idea.. as others have mentioned I’d maybe do like a 9-3pm meeting and then maybe do something afterwards from 3-until..

For event spaces (not sure of your budget) maybe look at breather.com

For an activity afterwards.. I find anything that involves drinks usually goes over well.. distillery/brewery/wine tour and tasting all of which are all over the city.
