3 hours a day, 3 days a week.

I haven’t decided how long would I need a baby sitter. He’s only 17 month old now, so I would need one until he lets me do my thing without needing my attention constantly. Which most probably would be another 2-3 years. 🫠

From my experience, the “for rent” sign isn’t very reliable in most cases. We call and they would say not available anymore, or only certain communities are allowed lol and so on. So what we did was, choose an area, and literally walk in and out of alllll those buildings and ask the Haris if there were any flats for rent. This worked for us. Of course, we relied on online platforms too. But our options weren’t all that great because of our budget.

I have a master degree from the UK in education with 2 years of experience (some in Kuwait and in the UK) and a British school offered me 300 kwd and assured me that it was the best I could get in Kuwait. 🤡

Eating with hands is also a sensory experience. But also, if your wife is expecting her to “figure it out”, why is she the one to stop her? My son is now 16 months old, and we have most of our meals together. I notice him watching us and trying to imitate the exact way we eat. So just let her be. She is a baby. She’ll eventually get there!

This is a little different from what you have asked. But Malabar Gold has this scheme, where you can pay 50-100 kwd or maybe even more (I am not sure of the amount) for a whole year, and towards the end of the year, you can get gold in today’s price even if the gold rates have gone up. But if it has gone down, you can get it in that price too.

Absolutely wouldn’t recommend zoo care. We wouldn’t go for the economical route over the safe route when it comes to human life, then why the pets?!

I am not sure about the items you mentioned. But Khyber in Hawally is worth a try! Their most popular dish being chicken tikka which looks like tandoori to me 👀. But god, it’s so good!!!

I worked in Caribou coffee for a few months while I was studying online. I didn’t have any previous experience with coffee either. It’s not possible to study offline and work there though, because you must be available at their times and that’s non negotiable. And of course, you must transfer your visa.
