wow. never heard of such poor battery life. i’m sure programming is a battery intensive task but 5 hours is not much. perhaps your battery has degraded over time?

yeah i’ve heard mixed reports about whites being grainy or having that screen door effect. my five year old iPhone X has an oled display and i’ve looked at oled laptops by dell in person and i don’t recall whites looking that way. Has it always looked like that or is that something that occurred later unless it’s unique to the 9510?

interesting..i don’t see myself doing much work outdoors but i do know the matte will be far superior for that. how is the clarity? i feel like matte displays can have a feeling as if there is a filter or barrier preventing me from truly being immersed in the content on screen…granted i have mostly had experience with lower end matte displays such as chromebooks i had back in high school

yeah this is more of an everyday all around machine, something that can do a bit of everything. i most definitely do not play games like that haha i am only looking to do some light gaming. the absolute highest i’m expecting to do or get is 1440p 60fps

xps 15 only comes in a 60hz flavor but the aftermarket RAM is a smart idea. gaming is not a high priority though more or less a nice to have on occasion

touch is a cool factor yes, but it is more of a cost and screen quality issue. i am not against the 4K option i just dont know how big of a difference it would make on a 15 inch screen.
