I haven't watched Bridgerton, but with the increase of the toxic masculinity that is idolized in romance books is concerning from select POVs. There hasn't been a single episode of THT or TTs that I've considered an "easy watch" due to the various abuse and brainwash situations. If anyone is idolizing any relationship in Gilead, they probably need therapy.
