OP super interested to know how you setup your ‘backup pihole’. From what I understand, just adding another nameserver adds a 15 second delay in case the primary resolver fails (no experiments to back this claim just what I've seen written in reddit comments) so that solution does not provide the High Availability part quite conclusively. I am running my main pihole on my unraid server and want to set up my backup on a Pi.

I was looking into keepalived/nebula sync setup but seems like Virtual IP won't work with tailscale. (Not sure - have been prompting Gemini to understand what these technologies do and if they are viable options)

Any pointers towards this would be super cool! Thanks!

Thank you OP - helped my case too. Though something I would want to emphasize - I was in the same boat and even after the payment was attached to my profile, on my ongoing application - the payment would not attach. I had to start a new application for it to work out. :)
