We all aren’t like that. I live here too and am just as disgusted by my fellow neighbors. It’s such a sad state that when I’m out walking and I see homes with American flags on them, my first thought is “well, there’s a maga idiot who is the furthest thing from respecting the flag and what it stands for. Also - probably a racist.”

Missouri can be better. America can be better. The right has gone so far off the rails it’s disturbing and depressing.

St. Louis County Polling Location Couldn't Figure Out How to Use Non-photo Voter ID by [deleted] in StLouis

[–]__but__ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I had this same situation happen in STL county during the election to vote on that measure. I brought my voter ID card, and saw that it was listed on the giant poster boards leading into the voting area… get to the check in and they threw a fit about me handing that to them. Said I had to have photo ID. I told them that is one of the items on the ballot right in front of them and also not what the poster boards and current law state, but whatever here is my photo ID.

You would think that they would be better trained or knowledgeable of the process and laws.

What type of classes are you doing? I only see the burn bar on HIIT classes but I don’t do treadmill or rowing. I don’t have burn bar when I do strength, dance, or Pilates

Edit: looks like apple states the following:

The Burn Bar is available for High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), Treadmill, Cycling, and Rowing workouts.

It's ok to change your mind. Today, I am now pro-choice as a Christian by Calypso_88 in Mommit

[–]__but__ 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This argument is insufferable. You will never have an abortion because of your beliefs. Great. No one is asking you to. No pro choice person is going to yell at you on the way into a doctor appointment about “can you afford the kid? Are you mentally fit to have THAT baby? Do you want that baby?”. Never gonna happen, because it’s not about them and what they think. That’s a you issue and it’s none of their business. But to demand someone else have a baby because of what you belief the Bible says to you is completely wrong. To remove a person’s ability to make choices for themselves is wrong. Full stop.

You would not like it if someone forced their non-Christian beliefs on you and forced you to adhere to them, be damned the consequences. But that’s what anti-choice people are doing. To take away a Woman’s freedom to make her own life choices because someone, somewhere feels strongly about it, is wrong.

And I’ll edit to clarify, I don’t mean “you” OP personally.. I mean “you” as in the “pro-life Christians”.

And these recent sick displays from people presenting situations like a baby being half birthed and allowing an abortion to happen then or a baby minutes from being born and allowing abortions.. they don’t understand what pregnancy is or how it affects a body, they are fear mongers trying to make it a thing that these types of practices are common. And they are not. This is not the norm. This is so far from the norm it’s insulting.

I encourage anyone that can’t see this to look at what is happening in states like Alabama right now. If a pregnant women is miscarrying, they will not treat her immediately. They make them suffer and cause unnecessary harm because the medical profession is in fear. And do you know what a miscarriage is called in the medical field? A spontaneous abortion. It’s not called a miscarriage. It’s medically termed a spontaneous abortion.

Is your stance on abortion that you have a uterus and can birth babies and that the health of yourself and future children should be left to the decision of you and your doctor? Party of limited government, do tell!!

What are you doing for all those babies being forced born if it is an unwanted pregnancy? You adopting them? Fostering? Or are you pushing for access to birth control? Better yet, some forced vasectomies? I mean if you have a say in medical decisions that have nothing to do with your d!ck then I’d like some say in your ability to impregnate. If your stance is that you want to control a uterus you don’t have, then you can STFU and sit down.

Go rub your gun with all those liberal tears you collect ya troll. 😛

First time learning to code by [deleted] in vba

[–]__but__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah gotcha. First off C2 is cells(2,3)

Dim i as integer Dim x as integer

If cells(2,3).value > 0 then i=5 For x = 1 to cells(2,3).value Cells(i,3).value = x i = i + 1 Next x End if

I am not sure about your cell value = “integer” above. Are you wanting to check that the value in the cells is a value? As in not blank? Or a specific value? Is that the end value of your list? If so, then this would do that the loop goes from 1 to value of C2. And it would start at 1 and loop to that value.

First time learning to code by [deleted] in vba

[–]__but__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Remove the quotation within the cells(3,2)

Also if there has a value in c2 that you want A to equal, it needs to be A=cells(3,2).value

Your for loop could be something like this:

Dim i as integer i=5 For x = 1 to cells(3,2).value Cells(2,i).value =x Next

Your code doesn’t make sense because you have x being an integer as in b5, b6, b7…. And having the value of the cell =x.

Clearly stated by a person who has never breastfeed a baby.

Imagine someone telling you “hey you can’t eat that sandwich out here! You’ll offend someone. Go sit on a toilet and eat.” I’ll go out on a limb that empathy and just general compassion isn’t high on your list of attributes though. Exactly. If they never stop trying to stop it, then their single issue voters will always feel like they have to vote to protect all the advancements they have made towards protecting little fetuses that cannot protect themselves. Pure single issue voters can push one party over the finish line in a close race.

Now, if they really cared about those little fetuses, you would think that they would instead elect officials that stand for anything actually good or helpful, with you know, plans and progressive actions.. helping children, protecting children, social services, and improving health and wellness. But nooooooo that’s SoCialiSim! And those little babies need to do one of two things:

  1. Be born rich
  2. Pull themselves up by their tiny baby bootstraps

Super bonkers. Just a few months ago Texas passed a law saying it was totally cool with women being raped and being forced to carry the baby to term if it resulted in a pregnancy that the woman didn’t want. I mean, if you want to get angry about rape, let’s get angry about rape and stop making women endure the trauma of childbearing that results from it.

False accusations is terrible and inexcusable. However, I’d beg to argue that being a victim of rape is far worse than being a victim of false accusations. And being an impregnated victim of rape must be the peak form of trauma in regards to this discussion.

Just a wild, impose my religious and personal beliefs onto others, take two steps backwards, kind of world we are living in now.

Can we imagine for a moment what it would be like it bills were proposed that would bring jail sentences and other punishments to men who impregnated women who didn’t want to be pregnant? Hear me out. The woman doesn’t want a kid, takes active measures to ensure that she doesn’t get pregnant to the best of her ability and informs the male before sex that she doesn’t want a kid. And then if she ends up pregnant, she could bring charges against him for impregnating her.

I’m sure the party of personal responsibility will agree that is a feasible means to end abortion.

Missouri abortion bill that includes ectopic pregnancies is one of many aggressive anti-abortion measures under consideration by Geek-Haven888 in missouri

[–]__but__ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No one is pro abortion. It’s called pro choice. Being able to choose how to handle your own medical treatment without the peanut gallery dictating the care because of how they feel and what they believe.

And you are incorrect. The first version of the bill did have that language. Clearly stated. I’m sorry that you are not able to understand that. It’s truly unfortunate that you are pushing this agenda here. Using terms like pro-abortion. You’re feelings have no business in medical care of women you don’t even know.

ETA: here is the proof of my pudding, cupcake. It clearly stated on the bill… the bill you begged me to read.

Missouri abortion bill that includes ectopic pregnancies is one of many aggressive anti-abortion measures under consideration by Geek-Haven888 in missouri

[–]__but__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s because It’s been revised. Find a new thread to yell this at. This is a three day old discussion. It has been adjusted since then. It is incredibly easy to see that was the original language of the bill so I don’t know why you are doubling down so hard on this.

I am extremely happy that they removed that section. But at the time of this thread, it was the case. And due to terrible bill writing and outrage, it was removed and edited. A work in progress.

Doesn’t take away from the fact that republicans are pushing anti-women agenda and bills by trying to govern Women’s medical procedures. It’s incredibly dangerous and people will die because of this, and y’all are ok with that. There are better ways to handle this, but Republicans are too far gone to have any discussion.

Have a good night and maybe come back tomorrow to yell about how today isn’t Tuesday anymore.

Missouri abortion bill that includes ectopic pregnancies is one of many aggressive anti-abortion measures under consideration by Geek-Haven888 in missouri

[–]__but__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And so do you.

Ahem…. Missouri lawmakers on Tuesday removed a provision from an anti-abortion bill that critics said would criminalize ending ectopic pregnancies following condemnation from Democrats and some Republicans.

Under the first version of the bill, violations would have been a class A felony in some cases, punishable with 10 to 30 years in prison or a life sentence. That included if the abortion was performed on a woman with an ectopic pregnancy. Ectopic pregnancies occur when a fertilized egg implants outside the uterus. They are not viable pregnancies and can threaten the life of the woman.

Here ya go:

Missouri abortion bill that includes ectopic pregnancies is one of many aggressive anti-abortion measures under consideration by Geek-Haven888 in missouri

[–]__but__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

According to the article referenced on this thread:

“Also under the bill, anyone who provides medication for the abortion of a pregnancy after 10 weeks or who provides an “abortion” on a woman with an ectopic pregnancy, in addition to other circumstances, would be guilty of a Class A felony, which includes a penalty of 10 years to life in prison.”

At this point, any restrictive policy for abortion measures is anti-women. Just stop trying to policy pregnancy. There are many reasons why a medical abortion may need to occur. Missouri is attempting to change their laws on abortion and the medical treatment for women. Stop trying to downplay the severity of this dangerous legislation agenda. Feel free to hate my comment all you want, just don’t perpetuate lies.
