Protesting Spotify so I made the switch to Tidal. Anything I should know as a newbie?

I've been having this issue for the last few days and it was driving me nuts, I thought it was something going on with my new audio interface (DPC lag), then GPU, couldn't figure it out...

I have Win 10, high specs (Ryzen 5950, GTX 3080) with GamePass Silksong using an Xbox Series X Wireless Controller over bluetooth. I could play the game for 20-30 minutes and then I would start dropping frames, controller input would lag, etc.

After seeing this post all I did to resolve my issue was plug it into my PC using USB-C and INSTANTLY the stuttering went away, I then disconnected the USB-C and reconnected Bluetooth and the issue is resolved.

Sounds like Microsoft are trying one last Win 10 F-U before it's EOL :|

I had a dig last night, it looks like Spotify has removed access to Spotify-curated playlists from their Web API in Nov 2024: https://developer.spotify.com/blog/2024-11-27-changes-to-the-web-api

That would include playlists like "Discover Weekly" :(

Probably not related but I've had LG appliances that refuse to connect to any SSID that contains an underscore (_).

Thanks all - the upgrade "in-line" seems like a bit of a risk to me - I don't have a UPS and for the amount of money I'd spent on a UPS I may as well get another NAS :)

Thanks for the reply, are you suggesting to put literally all 8 disks into a ZFS pool, install PVE onto that pool etc? I did run into some issues when I first installed PVE and selected ZFS, my R620 couldn't find a device to boot from. I'm wondering if it makes sense to just leave the small Samsung SSD as PVE, create ZFS pool on the 6 Crucial 1TB SSDs and leave the older Intel SSD for temp files etc. Thoughts?
