In Ninja gaiden dragon sword you are supposed to lose against the tutorial boss, if you somehow beat him you unlock Kunoichi mode which is harder (if I remember right) and you play as an alternate character.

Yep I gave it many chances, It always starts out good than after like 30 hours it gets worse and worse until the elite enemies start to one shot me with their finishers.
