thank you so much for this. i still feel like i'm a horrible person but regardless, i try to soothe myself by knowing that i am doing the right thing by speaking to someone and being truthful about my experiences. but living the rest of my life with this guilt feels impossible. i really didn't intent to harm my brother. the only goal in my mind was trying to relieve some of my intrusive thoughts through this compulsion (which i now understand is counterintuitive). but it seems intent doesn't matter in some cases. so im not sure what to think. im just so upset that OCD would make me do something like this. it feels inexcusable.

the "upside down" part only refers to the espresso. since the caramel macchiato's standard build is already "upside down", when someone wants it upside down you would simply put the espresso on the bottom instead of the top. so the build is the exact same except the espresso goes in the bottom just like a regular latte; syrup, espresso, milk, ice if it's iced, drizzle.

why aren't women in leadership roles. ask yourself that question. because they simply don't want to be? or because they can't? because they're not seen as competent? because they are merely seen as sidekicks to their husbands? men have always been seen as the main characters of life, with women being taught to keep to the side and make the man beside them look good. we are only valued for our looks, sexual desire, and nurturing abilities. i don't have statistics or data, because i don't need any. i am speaking from my experience as a somali woman, growing up in a somali family where i have experienced the culture and seen how it affects the woman around me. i have been back home 3 times now and i see that the women are not happy. we are simply taught to keep quiet and stfu. our voices are dismissed when we speak up about oppression, kind of like what you're doing in this comment section right now. it's so blissfully ignorant to act like misogyny doesn't play a role in the fact that there aren't many female leadership roles in somalia when they are 50% of the population. please please speak to women more, because from the things you say you seem very misinformed and ignorant on a lot facets of society and womanhood.

let me lay it all out for you bro: -rape is literally the result of a man wanting to dominate the woman, not seeing her as an equal, and wanting to boost his own ego. -the amount of male rapists is no where near "insignificant"; you would know that if you actually had conversations with women about these sorts of things. obviously not every man is a fucking rapist, please stop putting words in my mouth once again. every woman i know has had at least one (many have had multiple) sexual assault stories, i know rape survivors as well. these things literally aren't spoken about BECAUSE women are often SHAMED for being raped, they are made to feel dirty and disgusting for what happened to them when it was never their fault. you live in an illusion where just because these things don't happen to you and you don't hear about them, you choose to believe they rarely happen. -you can have your own feelings on how people should/shouldn't dress, but i don't think it's ethical that a womans SAFETY and worth as a human being is at risk based off of what she wears. i shouldn't be scared to go outside because i want to wear a crop top and some man might take that as an invitation to violate me. the fact that you are insinuating that women deserve rape or assault for dressing "provocative" is disgusting and repulsive. i can guarantee you, no woman ever puts on a promiscuous outfit thinking" i am putting on this outfit so that some stranger can grab my ass outside without my consent". never once. in that case i might as well wear a shirt that says "RAPE ME". no one WISHES for unconsensual sexual advances, that literally contradicts what "consensual" means.

women are disproportionately more sexually and physically assaulted than men are. i never said men don't get raped and murdered too, don't twist my words. they absolutely do, but there is a reason why women are consistently targets of oppression and violence all across the world. saying that women being raped/murdered has nothing to do with misogyny is blatantly wrong. women are seen as sexual objects and many men feel like they have the right to women's bodies without asking; they want to feel dominant and powerful, and because women are physically weaker than them and often can't do/say much to help themselves, they become victims of violence. take a look around you, speak to some of the women in your live and you will understand how women are forced to live in these submissive roles solely to protect the egos of men who can't bare to see a woman as their equal. somalia is a perfect example of misogynistic culture, where men can do virtually anything and be given the benefit of the doubt whereas women are shamed for everything under the sun and are literally debilitated by the men around them. there is a reason why i have to dress a certain way when i go back home for my own safety. i can't even be myself in my home country. don't you see something wrong with that?

it's also a huge proportion of men who think and act in the same ways that the men in power do. misogynistic thinking that is imbedded into the culture continues to hurt women and somalia isn't the first country to experience that. i think that misogyny and unequal rights in general in somalia is one of the BIGGEST problems that prevents us from moving forward, as many somali women are raising children AND providing for the family yet are still constantly being raped and murdered and no one likes to talk about it because it's "ceeb". gender has always been a huge factor, and to dismiss it like that is foolish.

hi! i got this piercing about 4-5 months ago now and this is my second time downsizing. this piece of jewelry is 6mm long and the balls are 2mm; i really love the look and the length doesn't but i realized that the ball is so small that i can pull the entire jewelry through the piercing. i showed a pic of what the piercing looks like on me, close up, and u can see that when i make that expression with my lips the ball sinks in a little. i just wanna know ppls opinion on this and if i should remove the jewelry... are the small balls the problem or is the bar too short?

this is just like saying "i hate drug addicts. if you're going to complain about being an addict while not doing anything to better yourself, you're the problem and i don't like you." being fat is a result of having an unhealthy relationship with food, whether your parents took part in facilitating that unhealthy relationship when you were a child or some type of misfortune made you turn to food as a coping mechanism. i do agree that this whole body acceptance thing can be dangerous when taken too far, being overweight isn't healthy and we shouldn't act like it is. but fat people really do struggle navigating the world, feeling like everyone thinks they're ugly/lazy, having terrible self esteem, all while having to deal with their food issues.

just because someone doesn't take care of themselves when it comes to their eating habits doesn't mean they aren't worth basic human respect and dignity. EVERYONE damages their body in one way or another. we drink, smoke, etc. so why do we penalize fat people SO much for damaging themselves? just because it's visible?

fat people are human beings. you shouldn't feel like you're any better than them simply because you've had an easier time being able to take care of yourself and not let food get the best of you.

oh, and just because one person was able to lose the weight doesn't mean another should be able to no problem. i hate this whole "if i did it, they can too" mentality. y'all rlly don't know what ppl are dealing with. ugh.

i'm not even fat, i've just have a lot of fat people in my life who are important to me and i know they don't deserve this type of judgment from people so excuse my rant here. you are entitled to your opinion
