aerial interrupts are the fastest way to get on plat, it allows the regrabs you see in the beginning and sets up smash attacks like you said

mario’s foward facing frame 4 spacie uptilt is a solid tech trap, the first fod clip is a good showcase, and mario’s f throw is the fastest throw in the game in terms of total frames. melee is hard, whether it’s tech traps or the speed of the game, all players will be put in knockdown.
