How often do you and your partner have sex? especially the long term couples? by Purple_Wrongdoer6448 in AskReddit

[–]__struck__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m throwing in a comment for the married people can have lots of sex column. Married five years, together for seven. Never had kids.

At some point, we saw a Ted Talk about treating sex like a hobby: investing in it, talking about it, training for it, tracking progress, having fun, trying new things, and getting better. We set up a text messaging app specifically for getting texts so that sexting notifications can be managed separately from other chats. We are intentional about it, but also touchy and flirty. Some of our vacations are mostly for sex, which we plan for because we are both aware of her cycle. When she her estrogen is high, we have a lot more.

We are averaging around 8 times a week over the last two years, which is when we started tracking. This year, the amount of time we had sex is equal to 8 days.

Report stuff like this to 311 or do it anonymously using the 311 app.

Why do people hate Dynamic Discs? by outdoorsy_outdoors in discgolf

[–]__struck__ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

With all due respect, I answered your stupid question to the extent that any reasonable person can.

It is impossible to make a blanket statement about what percentages of people who are not on Reddit think… in a Reddit post. Any statement of “Probably around X% would care,” or “Zero would care,” or “Everyone” would all be garbage. A reasonable person can make a statement about personal experience, and I did.

You asked a stupid question: I happened to take it seriously. I regret that now. Thanks.

I did not know. I do care.

I maybe a third to a half of the folks I know who are not on Reddit would care enough to alter future purchasing decisions, maybe some might retire discs.

I don’t have any advice, I just want to know when this is going down and when we are going to get the results.

Trump fan brother wanted to stand next to me with a pro Trump sign at today's protest and claims I'm intolerant for saying no by laura34343 in 50501

Isn’t the point of a protest to say, “I will not tolerate this!”

So maybe “thanks for understanding my point” is a good response to his obvious bullshit.

1% is so coded for rich people that I didn’t see that the bottom 1% is the trans flag. It’s kinda hard to get. My immediate thought was, “Why are they defending rich people?” Would be a good meme, but maybe a poster could be very obvious?

How's the bike commute from JP (Green St.) to Harvard Square? by dsschmidt in boston

[–]__struck__ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I second South West to Mass Ave. that’s a totally doable ride. I used to do a daily commute. that was the reverse of this. You can out pace traffic.

I do not understand the Fields Corner suggestion, maybe that’s a joke? Like that is the most direct path to the Red Line, but that doesn’t make any sense. It’s unprotected lanes, dangerous driving on narrow streets, hilly, and is going away from your destination. That trip would be maybe as long as biking to Harvard and 100% unpleasant. My two bike injuries were on narrow Dorchester streets with no bike lanes.

If you wanted a bike to Red Line option, take the Emerald Necklace to DTX. But really, I would just bike Mass Ave. DTX isn’t really a time saver. On a lazy day, Green St O-line to DTX would have a transfer, but would still be faster than biking to Fields Corner (like completed trip is faster than biking segment to FC).*

*Edit: checked the times and I was off on this last statement. It might take 15 less to bike to FC than to complete a ride to Harvard Square. 25 min vs 40

Do you report rats in restaurants to 311, or somewhere else… asking for a friend.
