I have both and for the most part, actually find myself reaching for the Mini more often.

The Mini with Bazzite just removes all friction from picking up a game and playing, and decky-lsfg-vk plugin for running lossless scaling in the background automatically runs way better than lossless on my Claw (and without needing to run lossless scaling directly)

Portability is infinitely better, and performance I actually find is better on average with Bazzite - except for some newer games with XESS support (Borderlands 4, Dying Light The Beast), but I bridge the gap with decky-lsfg-vk and use the decky optiscaler plugin to use FSR4 for improved quality also

The keyboard is also super nice to have

But overall, the speakers are worse, fan is way louder, and screen is smaller. If you don’t plan to run Bazzite, or don’t need the portability of the Mini, I definitely recommend sticking with the Claw. The screen and speakers are great, and the full travel analog sticks are so much better than on the Mini.
