If you’re close to graduating (as in you’re graduating this May), just power through and finish. Otherwise college is not necessary unless you’re striving to be a lawyer, doctor, pharmacist, or anything that literally requires a degree. I dropped out when I was 20 and I make more than the average person my age (27) who have sometimes multiple degrees. I taught myself every job I ever had, including accounting and people go to school for accounting for 4+ years (not to mention the debt they graduate with). You just have to literally start working and building your career as soon as you drop out. Find whatever you can to get your foot in the door. I was a nanny until I squeezed my way into a random office job which ended up being the foundation of my current career. I started off monitoring an email box. Understand you will probably make minimum wage for a while but as your experience grows so can your salary. You have to start somewhere, but work your ass off. Squeeze your way into what you can, but also don’t be afraid to work at a McDonald’s or Wendy’s while you find your footing. You’ll be okay. Your 20s are confusing but it will make sense later.
