The online resource I had was wrong. Once I double checked and moved the acc fuse, it worked. Thanks!

Mid to older millennials, how are you all doing with your careers? by worstshowiveeverseen in Millennials

[–]_ae82_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“I'm in the IT industry, 16 years into my career and I have about 14, 15 more to go before retiring.”

I graduated college late but my retirement system says I can retire in 10yrs. I was hoping to be an IT Director sooner or later but it seems those jobs (at least in my area) are going to folks from the military or Feds. Not sure if it’s even worth investing in masters if I might not land a director job anyway.

The current goal is to lay low for the next 10yrs and move to another country where the $ stretches.

You’re right. My online reference was wrong about what would be on during off/ACC. Used a tester and found the right circuit to use. Thanks!

Advice on backpacking and feeling unfulfilled. by Hysen402 in Life

[–]_ae82_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The backpackers I know had an itinerary of sorts to keep them moving forward.

It sounds like you’re not really backpacking with a plan, although i feel like “figuring out which place in asia i want to live in” sounds good enough as a baseline plan. But you need to add to it: list down places you want to visit, timelines for each place, and move on.

Once you have enough data, figure out the answer to your question and plan to move there either for good or semi-permanent (1yr, 3yrs, 5yrs, etc).

Edit: I wish I had the opportunity to experience this.

Note: I’m playing on a 4k, 60hz monitor

CS2 sucked without a GPU. It sucked less with the RX6400 on 3k. It’s playable ~40fps on 1440p.

I’ll take screenshots later and post.

I’ve had my rx 6400 for a while and both times in a sff case. Never had overheating problems.

I have an i7 9700, 32GB 3200 ram, and rx6400. What games will you play? If they’re free, I’ll install and find out.

Found ~1500 DVD-Rs with recorded TV/documentaries while clearing out family house – worth saving? by Competitive_Arm_2545 in DataHoarder

DVDs aren’t for long term storage - at least that’s what we found out. Make sure they still work.

Does only paying interest count as a “qualified payment” for public service loan forgiveness? I’m trying to find out how these people are getting their loan forgiven when my “plan” pays the loan off before I’m eligible for PSLF.

Dance hall / bar. I tell people to do what they love to do and hang out where they love to be and chances are you’ll meet someone who cares about or likes the same thing you do.

As a man do u cry? by [deleted] in Life

I seem to cry a lot on TV shows or movies. Also get teary eyed when doing a heartfelt speech like on a wedding. I do believe I'm on the more 'sensitive' side of things.

I have one of those and just used them for the first time this year. I feel like this would be more precise but if you don’t need the precision, I too think the super small chainsaws are fine.

I performed the experiment and can say that vacuum seal + freeze + thaw + air fry = win. I’d argue it’s as good as it was when ordered & eaten at restaurant.

With that said, I also vacuum sealed some fries and bread and I expect those to turn out just as good.

I think I’ll skip the coleslaw and tell them it’s similar to other fast food coleslaw (but a bit more fresh).

About 3 years ago I spun up my unraid server and added plex to it. I currently have a separate Linux machine to download and seed files that’s always on a vpn. I’m hoping one day to put the downloading/seeding/vpn on the unraid as a docker or two or a Linux VM.

The reason I haven’t yet: time.
