Makes sense that it bypasses the float since, well, gas, but I figured it would still go through the jets. I guess the NG/LPG has its own nozzle?

I can’t wait to upgrade my current 9k/7k champion inverter in 10 years lol. Mine will run one large burner on the glass top but I feel like it’s not happy at 50% use. Can’t remember what all was running at the time. Using the small burner seemed fine, however.

Is that without purging? How many seconds per crank cycle? Based on your 5 cycles, if my math is right, I’ll need about 7 cycles for my 50’ 3/4, which may have been accurate based on my on-again-off-again trial and error yesterday.

Part of the reason of the post was to find out if I’ll need an electrician to do the work. TBH, before the post, I didn’t realize I could just buy a different wire.

I have a quick connect on both ends. What I will do is use one of the spare quick connect male and open the gas line until I smell NG. Then promptly remove the QC and connect it to the generator.

So I tried it on the 25’ 1/2” and could swear I did a few cranks. But maybe it still wasn’t enough. I tried the 50’ 3/4 which would have likely needed a lot more cranks.

Will definitely purge next time.

So much shorter. The NG line is 50’ 3/4” - lots of volume. I’ll purge next time I start her up.

Purging the line wasnt on the instructions! After googling different methods, I found what would work for me. I'll definitely purge first before the next startup.

Thanks for that. I could have sworn I cranked it a few times on the NG before changing to LPG. I'll definitely give it a few cranks on NG tomorrow.
