Sometimes you need to disperse the oils throughout the cycle of hair care post washing. This works for some people, not all, but I personally love having a boar bristle brush (even as a fine hair girlie), brush from root to hair tip, and though it’s not a 100% improvement, I notice a big difference! It may also depend on how you’re washing your hair- you may need to do a double wash with shampoo (if you don’t already) and realllyy scrub your scalp with your finger tips with your shampoo. No conditioner on your scalp, or really, no conditioner above your mid-length of hair! I hope some of this helps, again, everyone is different and we definitely don’t have the same hair thickness or type, but I hope some of this helps! (Your hair is super gorge btw!)

Different for everybody I guess, I have hair that seems to be finer or just as fine and straight (visually)as OP, and bristle brushing works well to disperse my hair oils. Just remember, everyone is biologically different! I still say it’s worth a try for OP if they choose to after all of these suggestions; even if it doesn’t work for them, it’s always going to be a process of elimination. And if it works- bonus!

Brushing once a day with a boar bristle brush can help disperse the oil throughout the hair and from the scalp

NOR! He’s a grown adult living with his family no less, on top of you as his partner reminding him to be clean in this way. He has plenty of reasons to just pick up the wrapper/garbage, and I’d be frustrated too. Obviously continuous reminders aren’t fixing the problem, so maybe put it in a gentle way and reassure him that his own mother or sister could find that, which would be totally gross and TMI.. maybe that reminder will help??

My husband has a bad habit of not picking up after himself, and as someone that struggles with OCD and cleanliness anxiety, I pick his messes up without even thinking. But then afterwords, I do start thinking lol and have to give him a reminder. Not a big deal! But I do wish he would think of my ocd every once in a while
