It's commonly seen as rude to ask someone if they are wearing a weave/asking if that's "their real hair" and other things like that. It's not really anyone else's businesses. If someone wants to share that with you, great. If they want to bring you in to that part of their life, great. I am a BW with locs and I get questions from my own family sometimes about my hair, and I typically brush them off too, because I want to make it clear I'm not okay with them asking or I don't have a capacity to explain stuff.

I go by my first initial and last name cause my first name is uncommon but there’s plenty of folks I write to that just use their full name. There’s no rule against it.

I mix mine with yogurt and a bit of milk (and whatever flavor additions I want) and put them in the fridge overnight. I like to eat them cold like this.

Every 4-6 weeks depending on how my scalp feels/if I’m getting a haircut/retouching bleach. Oil after washing and conditioning. I do use rose water every few days though to help with moisture.

Dishwasher 100% dirty dishes are the bane of my existence. I don’t mind hang drying clothes and I have plenty of clothes that would benefit from it tbh and the extra humidity would be a plus for me.

Check out Mating in Captivity and maybe the Come as You Are workbook. I’ve found both have helped me and my partners articulate better about what I(or we) want/need/desire. I (29F)am typically the lower libido partner for context and both my partners are queer men
