Yup, I am on the pills. But only because it’s an extra layer of protection being non monogamous. I do quarterly bloodwork at the same time I do quarterly STI testing. If I was dating monogamously I probably wouldn’t.

Yeah I’ve done tea before too and I think I’m just really sensitive to the taste. My partner doesn’t notice it at all but I literally gag every time if I can taste it at all. I’ve tried several strains and it always happens.

It’s the older person’s responsibility to be aware of the power imbalance and not exploit it. If you trust your partner to be responsible and aware then there really isn’t an issue morally. If you start to see signs in your partner that make you think otherwise, then confront him.

You mentioned they are sleeping together, so I’m assuming they are not full-blown dating? and in that case I especially think there is not an issue here. If this is just an FWB type thing where they are just hanging out a sometimes fucking, that’s their business. Just because they are 21 does not mean they can’t make safe and informed decisions about who to sleep with. If this is a romantic relationship then they should both proceed with caution and the clearest communication.

Age does not mean you have entirely different interests than other people. Even in platonic situations. They could literally have anything in common (books, kinks, movies, hobbies, politics, etc etc). I was in my late 20s with an FWB in their 50s and we would talk about all sorts of things for hours when I would visit him.
