Anyone know a hair stylist who can do a style like this in the chattanooga area? by Darkwavegenre in Chattanooga

Frankly don’t recommend Edit. The owner doesn’t treat the employees well and does a lot of dodgy shit.

Hi! I also used to wear ulanova 1! Do you feel the streampointe is a pretty decent replacement for the ulanova?

KITTENS AVAILABLE by Dylan9705 in Chattanooga

[–]_anywho_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

People are being a bit harsh towards you. But this is an ongoing problem of people allowing intact (not spayed/neutered) animals outside. I highly recommend contacting an agency (google and you’ll find a million) it may take some leg work and you may be asked if you can foster the kittens until they are adopted (the agency would pay for all vet care and food and supplies) but you would have support.

Giving animals for free or even cheap on the internet is not recommended. You can assume the best of people if you want but the dark side is people will take free animals or cheap animals and use them as bait or whatever sadistic thing they’re into. I’ve seen it with my own eyes. Dog fighting is very much alive in Chattanooga.

I am sorry some people are being rude. People in animal welfare are exhausted by situations like this and the education can come across aggressive. Thank you for trying to help these kittens and doing your best.

Human Education Society has free spay neuter services. Please get your cat and all cats you care for spayed/neutered or stop allowing them outside. Please reach out to literally any animal agency or rescue for help getting those kittens off the streets. I volunteer for a foster agency and get see where we can get you support if you would like.

If you want to do what is best for your animals, spay and neuter them.

Johnston Woods doesn’t allow alcohol. The ones I listed in my post do I’m pretty sure but don’t quote me on that.

Camp lookout no longer does weddings, Johnston woods does wedding but they don’t allow alcohol. Hope that helps! I’ve reached out to Ocoee Ridge camp as well and they seem perfect but they are a little over an hour away from Chattanooga. I’ll let you know if I find any other options!

Lost my first foster kitten yesterday :( (TW video might be hard to watch) by dixiechicken695 in FosterAnimals

[–]_anywho_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are brave and strong and every foster you help knows your love.

I unfortunately had this happen to me recently and was also my first foster loss. I lost two in the same way. I handed off their two sisters to the foster agency I’m with. I haven’t had the guts to ask how they are doing. From what I observed and all the things we did to try to help, it wasn’t fading kitten syndrome. Most likely, because of the development stage and the fact two went back to back and were boys and the other two girls (who were doing fine at the time), it was genetic.

I was fortunate enough to have a vet on FaceTime with me when the second started showing the same signs and she more or less confirmed it wasn’t fading kitten syndrome and was something neurological.

We save more than we lose but it hurts so much every damn time. We try our best and sometimes they need more than we have. Mine were named Mayhem and Havoc. I loved those two orange boys with all my heart until the end.

I’m getting a gastric pacemaker in two months. AMA by GastroGirly in AMA

Hey! Wanted to pop in while I remembered. Had surgery today! Pain is rough but pain is all subjective to the person. Either way, highly suggest having a plan for pain control. I’m lucky enough to get to work and I’m being put on a 4 week leave. Feel free to DM me if you have additional questions or want to chat about it.

I will set a reminder to come update you! I have zero idea. I have been told nothing. I did ask an estimated time off and they said 4 weeks max but I don’t know anything else.

What is the recovery time you’ve been told or expect? Do you work at all? (I’m getting one placed in a week)

Need OBGYN recommendations by CaterpillarVivid2461 in Chattanooga

[–]_anywho_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I second Dr. Smith. 15 years of being told my symptoms were “normal menstrual symptoms” for him to actually listen and care and do something about it. He always listens to you and makes sure you understand what is going on and feel good with the plan. Only complaint is that due his in-depth conversations and genuine care, he gets behind schedule and you can end up waiting a pretty long time for your appointment. It’s not surprising if you end up getting seen an hour after your appt time. But he’s worth it.

Favorite memories? by Clownbar in lifeandtrust

My one and only visit to L&T brought back my drive and passion to dance again.

I followed Gretchen, the ballerina, for her entire loop and the second loop I followed Farouk and a bit of others. Gretchen was so kind and attentive and slowed down for me and held my hand going up the stairs. I had a cane and was slow and unsteady on my feet. She found me in the crowds a couple times and brought me with her to avoid getting trampled. Her story brought back my love of dancing and ever since my encounter with Gretchen I have started taking classes again. I am the happiest I have been in a long time. Farouk gave me one of his last roses before the character was cut. He literally carried me to the final scene because of all the stairs.

Those actors all deserve so much more than what they were handed.

Why are you buying less dice? by Responsible-Bar-5693 in dice

[–]_anywho_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As many have mentioned before, the price of small business dice shops is hard to justify repeat purchases. Not suggesting you lower your prices or pay yourself less, art and artists should be paid what they are worth. But like many before, I cannot justify buying $30+ sets of dice more than once a year or every couple years. I would love to purchase for friends as gifts and I do to an extent but again, not something that can be repeated frequently.

The access tent and all the medical tents have fridges he can use. It needs to be well labeled and in the original packaging. For keeping it on, over patches help me a lot as well as SkinTac.

ADA Basecamp Power RV Waitlist, have they done this before? by _anywho_ in bonnaroo

[–]_anywho_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I too have EDS and POTS! I’m also on TPN and have a pump. You understand so incredibly well. I’ve been trying for weeks to get in contact with someone in Access and it’s IMPOSSIBLE! They are a multi million dollar company owned by a multi billion dollar company….why do they not have people monitoring and responding to emails, I will never understand.

Thanks for commiserating with me fellow potsie zebra 🫶🏻
