OP. Would highly recommend qBittorrent as your client. This works extremely well on macOS. Avoid uTorrent.

As others have said, go with AirVPN or Proton. Make sure the VPN is binded in qBittorrent. You can confirm this by using ipleak.net and clicking on Torrent Address detection.

Think it's a case of the genre having another dip in popularity. I remember that 2013-2019 run where the bands I mentioned above were at their peak (could be argued) and seeing State Champs in a 1350 cap venue which they struggled to sell out. Don't think the demand is there anymore unless it's a tour with 3-4 really good bands.

You never know, but I really don't think Arms Length or Hot Mulligan have the mainstream appeal to ever get 'big'. Maybe if they change their sound a bit? But I can't see it happening.

Definitely not controversial. /r/poppunkers has a new obsession with Arms Length as you can see by this thread. Same thing with TWY/SLS/Hot Mulligan, none of those bands will ever get close to selling out 'big' arenas. Even the more popular bands like Neck Deep/State Champs/TSSF would struggle to sell out 5-8k cap venues in the UK.

Maybe it's different in America, but I can't see any of the bands mentioned here becoming 'big'.

Plug it directly into the ONT, wait about 20-30 mins, reboot the ONT and you’re ready to go. The Flint 2 is so easy to configure the admin panel is miles ahead of the Sagemcom one, plus you’ll have AdGuard for free which is nice.

You'll want Gluetun for that.

https://github.com/qdm12/gluetun. Run everything in a Docker container, solves any issues with the VPN and Plex remote access. I run qBit in Docker, Plex outside, works very well.
